I estimated that based on 1 body / 12 kills, which is pretty consistent with what I've seen across the board, and have heard from others.

AF3+2 hands would be better when closing weaponskills, but good luck figuring out how to macro that.

PS. I went 1/1 on both of them.

Haha I would rather have that then to have my corus/toci/athos body drop rate decrease...which I know is whats going to happen to compensate...

Blah, somehow I forgot about the SC bonus. So for now I'll just use athos for PK/EXE and keep charis for EVIS (since thats mainly the only thing I close with)

Well, to be fair, I haven't fought Smierc. So maybe I'll go 1/1 on that. But from what I hear, that drop is really common.

Also, I can't tell if I'm just HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE and suck at Solo-SC with Exenterator, the timing window is more sensitive or different, (maybe due to length of animation?), or if I just rarely can see the SC due to blinking :<

Low sample size etc but relatively speaking it doesn't seem to be too bad, out of six fights we got 6 or so I think.

Mind you I got three of them (1 on main and 2 on mule, all in our first two fights), but that's a completely different story. Meanwhile, the boots continue to elude me.

From what I understand on the drop rate of Athos' Gloves, it looks like 5%.

But I've always suspected the tiers on VW drops look like this:

0.1-0.2% / 0.5% / 1% / 5% / 10%

HQ Weapon / Body / Rarer Drop / Rare Drop / Common Drop

{Gil Toss}

I put my two cents in.

Also, I still need like 34 levels of H2H Skill <_< Working on that now. I guess I'll do throwing some day too.

Well how much do you have in your Waltz set? =p

Feet, Body, Ammo, 1 Ring, 1 Ear, Head are all eaten by more important stats than CHR.

Also, I realize that the proposed changes would result in an increase in Waltz potency for everyone, but . . . . I wanted to propose it anyway.

Yeah, I realized that a lot of the CHR competes with potency pieces.

This is the best you can do, for III, I think:

(129 CHR for me with 91 base /WAR)

I gotta admit though, I only carry potency pieces around (along with Desultors) and just toss in whatever free CHR is lying around anyway for other purposes (IDK if that's anything off the top of my head), because it's just not worth the INV- at this point.

Dualism Collar gives +6 CHR on the neck. I use Novia (Enmity-7, pulls double duty) and Veela (Enmity-2) for Enmity-12 at the cost of 5 CHR.

If it was in Voidwatch with Waltz Potency +50% (Atmacite of Unity + gear) and Braver's Drink (+30 VIT target, +30 CHR you), then we'd be looking at about
(130 VIT + 155 CHR)*1.5 = 427
(427+220)*1.5 = 970 HP healed from Curing Waltz III

Outside Voidwatch (23% Waltz potency):
(100 VIT + 125 CHR)*1.5 = 337
(337+220)*1.23 = 685 HP healed from Curing Waltz III

Seems reasonable to me?

For some reason I have been thinking +30, but bgwiki says +15 and I know I updated that in Salvage. I will have to check next time I do Voidwatch.

But yeah, Veela and Novia would be worth considering, although as fast as we attack, I'm not sure we'd ever be able to avoid drawing ire.

Abyssea with Atma of Harmony/Noxious Bloom (not that I'd ever actually use them) would be

(~350*1.5+220)*1.43 = 1065

As far as Abyssea healing goes, that would be about the potency you need. If you already sacrifice two Atma for Waltz potency, you could drop a third on CHR and heal for over 1100 HP per Waltz III. Not a playstyle I'd use, but at least it would give Waltzes a shot at viability in Abyssea.

Legion Hands 2 Rare
Hands
DEF:29 STR+10 DEX+6 AGI+6
"Double Attack"+3%
Set: Increases rate of critical hits
Lv96 MNK THF RNG SAM NIN COR PUP DNC

Thaumas Kecks Rare Exclusive

much much more attack, accuracy, and multi-hit than what we have now.
Body is kinda debatable there, but the other 3 are pretty obvious.

I think the Thaumas set is the new nyzul gear, it goes NQ +1/2/3 then changes to the Thaumas stuff and has similar/identical stats to the nyzul gear we saw before.

Just my assumption at this point.

they nerfed it
I remember the denali hands and legs +5 have massive amount of eva, now they have nothing at all

askar dirs+5 also nerfed by 1 stp.

denali wristbands+5 was nerfed by 1 haste, but transfered over to kecks+5

That's as far as I can recall on top of my head.
