Meh, Rajas/Epona's is fine.

I'm not even going to try to decide which silly hat is better on that right now.

Has to be hands down Cua +1. 7 STR/DEX with 6 attack and it is a STR/DEX mod WS. My main concern with Epona's is AM3. AM3 means Epona's would do almost nothing to one hand.

One of the more immediately usable conclusions from the pDIF testing on BG lately has been that the average pDIF is approximately (a little higher than) cRatio. Using that as a general rule and comparing Exenterator and PK sets, I get that PK is going to end up being substantially stronger than Exenterator with 99 Terpsichore. This ignores AM3, which would affect each of them almost equally.

I'm going to add that being able to offhand a 99 Twashtar is a huge boon to Terpsichore. 99 Twashtar's most awesome offhand is a STR Thokcha or Coruscanti.

Anyway, I get it being about 15-22% stronger. It gets stronger the higher the enemy's level or defense becomes because the PK set has a bit more attack. I can certainly attest to how damaging PK AM3 zerging can be. I demolished a floor 20 neo-NI boss on the test server last night. Took it from 90% to 20% in about 30 seconds (using Temp Items to boost damage and survive). Killed it after Fanatic's wore, but not by much.

1 more base damage, 20-30 less delay, some effect of higher tiers of Augment Steps... something!

There is also this:
http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxi/threads/19561-Mythic-WSs?p=264307&viewfull=1#post264307

Only after re-reading it just now did I realize they were offering to check with the Dev team and not saying they had done it.

Honestly, because I suspect they are JP (based on when the responses come), the Localization team probably has better access to the Dev team than any of the NA/EU reps. They also respond to almost every topic in the localization forum, which makes them much easier to contact than any other kind of rep.

Do Wants..
I really cant explain to you why but i want to do this so bad, and i could care less about how "Optimal" this would be or not, I've wanted to start a Terpsichore since the day they came out and seeing this set and the 99 I have my reason to now.

Getting the NQ version of Terpsichore at 99 is going to take 36 RL days worth of trading in Zeni. I have a mule, so call it 18.

Not, like, trading in a little zeni here and there. Like, I would have to be awake for every single game day for 18 consecutive days and trade 10 100+ point plates in to the NPC on both of my characters.

This is SE's idea of an easy trial. Thanks for finishing the mythic quest off right, SE.

For the JPs they are! Apparently they were added or announced recently. All the Riftdross/cinder in Port Jeuno under 1mil has sold.

PW can be pretty much lowmanned. Riftdross/cinder isn't going to be an issue because people will spam those NMs for quite a while. Also, considering how many people the previous 1500 plate trial weeded out, the price may be low. I would bet 500-1000k per riftcinder/dross.

Well PW is just a time sink essentially.

I haven't done ADL before so I'm not sure what to expect or how to go about doing the trial, I still have to actually finish my relic lol

Sorry for the slight derail Sylow.

P.S. I am very slowly leveling dnc :3

i renjoy those numbers but given the fact we still need 1500 heavy metal plates for empyreans i don't see those "low" numbers coming onto the actual servers. I bet they increase them.

Considering that you're looking at one drop per kill for the relics/mythics, I must strongly disagree.

You're not wrong, but in comparison to what it could've been it's a big relief.

Edit: I guess I could've worded that differently though lol

I don't think it's a relief at all, as far as relics/mythics are concerned. I wouldn't be shocked to see those items go for 10-20 mil, which means relic/mythic owners are looking at investing *another* 200mil into their weapon to take it from 95 to 99. Not only that, but the level 99 version is a large upgrade over the 95 version (+20%/15% weapon-specific-WS damage).

Can't even say that for all weapons since many don't use their unique weaponskill at all, or else will only find it a minor improvement over other options after the second WSDMG boost.

This is for the first trial, not the afterglow stage. It's not a relief at all, it's a sadistic joke after SE said that most people with 95 weapons would be able to complete the first 99 stage.

With Miser's Roll (lucky) and Save TP Atma in Voidwatch, 50% is reasonable. You save 45TP every WS and get about ~15 TP back from WS, so you WS again every ~8-12 (call it 10) hits.
i see, i did not realize miser's was that good for us.

My DNC rarely sees VW (sadday), but one of the times it did, I had a COR in my pt. I was weaponskilling every 5-10 seconds. It was godly.

well ideally with just haste as an outside component your ws rates should be around that range, with the addition of misers being this good, so i hear (been a month now without being able to log in), you should easily be able to self skillchain and almost no point in bothering with reverse, unless we start getting serious about /sam, even then though...

are you referring to trying to skillchain in vw? or being able to do it with miser's period, because you can in fact melee-chain a 12 hit build and this is letting you do it in less.
