Whoo... accuracy down... for my THF.. which doesn't need a mob to have less acc...
At least AGI gear is abundant... thank god I bothered camping Goatrap and Goblintrap.
But wow, 100 merits to max out a ws... it better be f***ing worth it. (inb4 cleaving, screw paying to level).

gsword ws 5hits? >_> scythe only 4?.....wtf, havent most gsword ws's been 1hit, and doesnt scythe already have 2 4hit ws's..... /sigh, guess ill finally have to cave in and start using gsword on drk...

each extra tier u raise the WS it raises the MOD by 17%.
so the cat says when selecting the WS to add a merit into
min of 357 skill to use also

the AGI kinda saddens me a tad due to DNC my main...and although yes they do have AGI equipment....most of it is DEX based.....well in terms of AF3 and such....

just saw that you get 15 upgrades, so the most fully powered ws's you can have is 3, but some people might try to get them all underpowered, idk

[dev1049] New weapon skills
*The following content is still in development. Specific details may differ from the release version.
To unlock these merit point weapon skills and the corresponding menu, players must first complete a quest offered by the Nomad Moogle NPC in Ru'Lude Gardens.
*To undertake this quest, the player's main job must be level 96 or higher. *On the test server, the merit point weapon skill menu will be accessible from the start, with no need to complete the aforementioned quest.

Marksmanship: Last Stand 1-2 Hits, based on ammo remaining. Damage varies with TP.
EDIT: In a Perusal of the JP wiki I've found out the descriptions for the new Sword and Katana WS TP mods have only ever been used before for Iron Tempest and Sturmwind in the JP version. It's exactly what it says on the tin: your attack is modded instead of your F.T.P. In the English version of the game, this distinction is not made and it simply says "Damage varies with TP" for those two weapon skills. It seems that they're taking into consideration that PLD and NIN may have hard times against enemies with high defense and thus made TP mod attack this time instead of F.T.P.
Asked Camate about the video and other ws's and when they will be introduced exactly (for an official response since it hasn't been translated yet by the dev team) and this is what he said:
