so the issue was that the modifier only proc'd on the first hit eh?

also @ the katana fix, maybe sword wasn't affected? can't wait to see those requiescat tests!

Wasn't it tested that Stardiver had the same issue? Yet it wasn't mentioned. Weird.

No, the issue was definitely the -40% attack penalty. In addition to fixing that, however, they're going to make it so the fTP applies to all hits (a buff provided they don't nerf the fTP, it's currently 1.0) but weaken the fTP bonus from overflow TP so that it doesn't become wtfpwn with a Moonshade Earring or the like.

Given that sword wasn't mentioned I'm assuming it has no penalty, though Prothescar can probably confirm/refute shortly.

EDIT: Reading over the post more closely, it sounds like Shun will also gain the property where fTP applies to all hits. If so, that's quite a nice buff on top of changing the attack penalty.

Stardiver has a low fTP, but no attack penalty.

Requiescat looks to have a 20% attack reduction at 100TP. Need to get more data after LS event to be concrete, but it's solid enough to say it is probably 20% or slightly less, but I severely doubt it's any more or less than 20%.

Simple evaluation then, total crap for anything with any kind of def?

So long as the mob doesn't have damage resistance properties such as elementals. As was said earlier somewhere, it works much like twilight scythe and ignores those modifiers.

Was kind of assuming this.

Still, gravitation property so darkness with QC. Has uses.

Nevermind, that was my misunderstanding of the Japanese on Gobli's page :)

I read 無属性 (muzokusei) as "No skillchain attribute" but it means "no elemental or physical attribute"

Since somepony asked in page 12, I tried Last Stand(5/5) naked on Teriggan mob and compared it to Slug to see the base difference. Last stand wins by quite a lot, it's going to be the best physical gun ws now, so it will have its fair use when WF isn't too reliable.
Also it has fusion property and it can do light sc.

Also tried a few times in aby with a bit of random atma(gnarled horn, sea daughter and griffon's claw)on La Theine gigas and it went from 1.8k~2.4k dmg.

Coronach will always be the "best" physical gun weapon skill. If you're talking about best damage, then Last Stand destroys pretty much every RNG weapon skill. I tested it on Pil with RCB + VS + tonic + bravers and was doing 2.2k consistently. My gear wasn't the best either. I'm missing AGI rings and one AGI earring.

Additional notes:
-The weaponskill looks AMAZING. Dunno why they decided to show apex arrow instead in their preview vid.

-Does use 2 ammunition, but recycle can proc.

-Should be an amazing zerg weapon skill when you don't have to worry about hate.

Test was with annihilator + dark adaman bullets and the most AGI I could find.

How is rattk and str role in Last stand?

I know with Slug and Detonator. STR was the biggest damage boster even though AGI was the primary modifier.

Why on earth would they make WS with attack penalties? >_< So the penalty is completely gone from katana? Sounds nice lol.

it's kinda nice they're putting more effort into the new weaponskills still kinda bothers me how flippant(in lack of a better word) some of the one handed weapon skills are. Bow and Staff look the best though

i keep seing peple say that the new WSs are 100% stat mod but 5x17 =/= 100 so where are people getting that the stat mods are from 20%-100%? like has been stated on the wiki sites?

it clearly states in the merit menu that is 17% for all the WSs so 5x17 = 85 so the stat mods should only be a max od 85% no 100% as people keep mentioning. so where is this 20%-100% info coming from or are people not doing the math properly

SE accounted for alpha in the ws calculations in the mods for the ws. Alpha = .85

The mods are 20% per level up to 100%.

Holy Christmas Eve Necrobump, Batman!

It's because the alpha is .85. Don't think too hard about it, it's crazy Japanese math. Source.

Edit: Noooo! I've been beaten by the Chinese! Zaogao!

Would like to replace dats with some of my WSs but i cant find the dats anywhere :<

Or if some1 could tell me which dats are for this:

Elvaan Female and male Blade: shun
Elvaan Male Requiescat

And that's it, thanks in advance :D
