Every linkshell I've ever been in has been a wonderful experience, its not so much how much I accomplished as an individual, but the people I met, and the people I was able to help along the way.
Watching everyone grow in their own unique way.
Watching some surpass me in gear and/or skill status.
Learning from them, and then beating them, them learning from me and so forth.

I'd say the worst part about any linkshell is when it breaks or its members decide to go their seperate ways. But every other ending leads to some other beginning.

The reason could be "I suddenly developed an alergy to the color of the sky in aby" You only think his reasoning is incorrect because your own viewpoint and opinion on the subject are different. But it doesn't work that way. You are looking at it from the viewpoint of one joining seventeen and hey wouldn't it be more fair and good if we all had an empys? and not looking at from the viewpoint of the seventeen people looking to add one and not have to go through getting another empy right now.

His statement was "And no, we will not finish your emp." Which I thought was a very clear and upfront statement about the shell, their priorities and their clear disinterest in farning empy weapons at the present time. Maybe that's not fair to you or someone in your situation, but guess what? It doesn't have to be.

Furthermore, he didn't carve it in stone, smash it, recarve it again and then put it in a box and start praying too it boy genius. Of course there are exceptions too every rule. I'm sure there is a scenario we could imagine where someone, after they have distinguished themselves through years of meritorious service to the shell, receives help with something that will also benefit the good of the rest of the group. Are they going to drop everything to go get your bard a twastar because you want it really hard?... no.

/Sigh i'll be a stand in for lolgonn because he usually doesn't even know what goes on in his shell....

We've moved away from doing emps as an ls but if someone new moves in, sticks around, makes some friends, there are plenty of us in the ls that will spend our "jeuno time" helping you out with your emp. Our emp movement has slowed to a crawl as an LS but that doesn't mean we have not been completing stages. Alot of our members are real friendly and don't mind helping out if you ask.

Paradoxical. It would be trolling if it was founded on personal biases, and it was intended for reprisal against an individual. The fact that I have no relationship with the person in question should make it obvious that my only grievance is with the logical fallacy committed, and the negative repercussions, be they recognized or not, that become burdensome to members.

You'll never understand the disappointment experienced when the unwitting victims of unquestioned rhetoric are the base of the opposition to liberation-via-logic.

I think the most effective "troll" is the people who use this word to define everything these days. Forget the fact that the OP came off sounding aggressive and condescending (two great things I look for the leadership to have when applying for ANYTHING). Nevermind that every person who comments, positively or negatively, is giving free press/bumps to an otherwise easy to miss generic recruitment post. OBVIOUSLY the guy who calmly (and courteously by pointing out it was a nitpick) pointed out that the manner with which the OP was written came off might be counterproductive to recruitment, is a TROLL and contributes nothing to the thread.

I have nothing against you guys. I even tend to agree with you sometimes about people not needing to duck into a thread when it doesn't concern them. It just really puckers my *** when I see people drop a "troll" everytime like it's a get out of jail free card. "You have irked me but I can find no fault in your logic, nor can I refute you with any kind of substantial arguement, therefore I shall call you a troll and hope you go away".

tl;dr- Its pretty annoying when you're attempting to point out the non-sequitor to those unable(or unwilling) to do so for themselves, only to have the very people you're trying to protect form the basis of your opposition.

i kinda understand egonn, people that apply to linkshells expect to get +2's and emps as soon they join , if not they leave, i used ot have this problem for more than 1 year when i used to semi-lead a ls

Spending 1-3 days max to make 80-85 is too much work?

i used troll mainly because whether this guy came off right in his recruitment or not, if it's not a shell you would join why comment, it's not your server or your affairs to worry about let the people that read it make up their own minds yet you seem to think it's your place to put this guy down. I wont argue your points being right, but he has obv come across what all ls leaders have lately and that's the guy that has like 4 + empy by ls hopping and or duo with his whm mule bot expecting a empy now that he's a member just because a ls has done them doesn't mean the sec you join your next. A lot of people expect this and i don't understand why. If you can duo yours to 85 finish it off don't cuss out a ls leader for not including you in their already set plans. Agreed again just putting it out their on a recruitment forum is harsh but leave the guy alone he's not bothering you is he?

before the flame on continues i usually let and let live but i happen to know the op is a stand up guy and good to his linkshell. He def worded his ***wrong by stating the whole you started it you finish it but i feel it's more of a frustration deal not that they wont help once a member has some time in. So before flames are on i'm done here.
