I have to admit that I was so darned mad and riled up at Santorum that I haven't even paid any attention to Romney. I'll have to look up what he's all about. /blush

Ever heard of Obama?

Now make a white mormon version of him who is more corporate like.

Tada.

O wow Santorum is out of it officially now, I'd link, but I'm lazy
Not "wow", was completely expected. No one other than Romney was ever really a choice.

I thought he'd flounder around in there right up until the end

Three videos everyone should watch before they vote (according to the article ~.^):

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/soraya-chemaly/the-video-every-woman-has_b_1403714.html?ref=fb&src=sp&comm_ref=false#access_token=AAAAACuIpepUBAI3K24lB2JAgTEkFUlo6PAJ1syIoZAmXcfXNPoZCPBrqhHr2sVJI2d0QCLCmhlXFfc0dX56K0FyWIhZCzMZD&expires_in=0#sb=1295728,b=facebook

And some info on the war on women:

http://girlinthegump.wordpress.com/2012/04/10/the-war-on-women-fact-or-fiction/

Disgusting. The beliefs of one person should never be allowed to trod on the rights of another. I'm kinda really disappointed in America for letting this nonsense begin, much less letting it go so far.

Why surprised. Despite what we say to the contrary, there is no other country in the world that is better than the U.S. at imposing our beliefs on them at the expense of their rights.

Unlike Obama, Romney has had experience running a business and how to make companies profitable.
Unlike Obama, Romney has actually LED something other than community organizers.
Unlike Obama, Romney had examples to look up to like his father, George Romney, a successful businessman and governor. Obama had Frank Marshall Davis, Bill Ayers, Derrick Bell, Jeremiah Wright, etc.
Unlike Obama, Romney wouldn't bow to Saudi kings.
Unlike Obama, Romney wouldn't apologize for America's exceptionalism.
Unlike Obama, Romney wouldn't wage class warfare.
Unlike Obama, Romney has vast experience and proven record in creating wealth, balancing budgets, hiring employees, and reversing deficits.
Unlike Obama, a Romney administration wouldn't choke our very own oil supply that lies at our fingertips in the Gulf, in Utah, North Dakota, and Alaska.
UNLIKE OBAMA, ROMNEY DOESN'T WANT TO FUNDAMENTALLY CHANGE THE GREATEST NATION ON EARTH AND TRAMPLE THE CONSTITUTION.

This is crossing the line if you're implying you need a father figure to be a good leader and is insulting to many people.

Also before "You're just saying that cause you love Obama" I don't support Obama or Romney more of a Ron Paul fan.

I'm awake enough to know that Romney wouldn't be a better choice, neither would any of the people the republicans brought up this year.

It doesn't really matter as long as we keep this crony capitalist form of government that in itself is a bastardization of what this nation was.

The fact that the right and left both continuously violate the constitution.

At least the left isn't trying to bring religious law to the US, unlike another party.

A lot of people DO need to wake up, and march on Washington and have our government reformed, and just about all the politicians arrested for treason.

But hey if you want to keep bickering about the policies they argue about to distract you from the real cause of our problems, go ahead.

Also most of your points are invalid due to Obama now has more experience as he's already in office, or that they aren't really issues.

As for oil, it doesn't matter where it's drilled, it's required to be sold based on the international price, which is controlled by OPEC...

As far "class warfare" Romney would, in fact he'd keep pushing us down.

Trickle down economics doesn't work.

As for the Nation/constitution dribble, exactly where do you get this idea?

Anyone, anywhere, any circumstances, can have a positive role-model. You don't have to know them personally to follow their example.

Be weary of your own bias.
It's fine to believe something or convince yourself of certain truths, but don't alienate others or call others misinformed when quite frankly the same logic applies to yourself as well. You end up looking like a tool.

Look I don't even really care either way on how Obama was raised. What I do care about is what he does and I do not agree with it. Bringing in someones family history is low and honestly making your case look worse since you can't find a proper foot to stand on. Slinging mud gets everyone dirty.

I'm done here I don't normally pop into these threads since anyone who would argue politics has an opinion and I'm not going to change it nor do I care to.

no those are THE FACTS...

apparently you're delusional as you lack the ability to see it.

how about the fact that Reaganomics doesn't and has never worked?

how about the fact that Mitt Romney is wishywashy and has literally flipped sides on issues just to garner more votes?
(politician I know but he's well documented for it)

how about the political right's ambition to destroy a woman's right to an abortion?

how about the fact that corporations have taken over this nation by means of legalized bribing?

It astounds me by how a few religious remarks by some politician (crony for the businesses) can rally the poor, they very people they are keeping down, just due to their delusions.

Or the fact that most who believe that the political right is trying to keep true to the constitution and the political left is trying to destroy it has probably never read it, and most don't understand it if they do read it.

Or the fact that the last republican president we had increased the size of the government tremendously and has authorized the government to trample on people's rights based upon fear.

I don't normally post in political threads either but the last post I came to was 'there's no difference between Obama and Romney' and it set me off :P

I'll be writing in my vote for Ron Paul regardless. All people that vote merely on political party are doing the entire country a great disservice.

That's the whole point of the two party system these days. Keep us arguing with each other while the government screws us all. It works phenomenally too. A third party candidate could be in line with the views of the majority of the country, but will never win because he's not sporting red or blue, jackass or elephant.

We are all instruments. We're being played quite nicely.

ahh...again. Call names when you can't provide FACTS. These are YOUR (facts/opinions).
The only thing I am going to reply to in this rambling of crap is: how about the political right's ambition to destroy a woman's right to an abortion?

Do what? Destroy a woman's right to an abortion?!? Really? How about just not asking ME to pay for it? How about not openly supporting partial-birth abortions on MY dime? How about not funding abortions over-seas on MY dime? How about, instead of you having a smart phone, 52" TV, and a BMW in the drive, YOU pay $10 a mo for your own contraceptives?!?
