As long as you handle the food and cook it yourself properly you most likely wont catch anything.
You should be more worrired about if your chicken is uncooked. 1 in 3 chicken breasts has salmonella in it.

As someone who has snuck (sneaked?) into the school kitchen a number of times on curiosity and other slightly mischievous adventures, I can assure you that the three school kitchens I've seen are most surely not in any condition to be managing food for children.

and school cafeterias are horrible.
If I knew what I know now about cooking and all the laws they are breaking and why there was always red hair in our food?

I often thought that seeing as how I'm still in public high school that I'd be able to perfectly chronicle the average life and the sick realities of how wrong they're doing it. Maybe I should go grab my notes again and start that idea back up.

Under-qualified teachers, horrible food conditions, toilets that have loaded with the same piss for months since they can't flush, and so on and so forth.

Too bad there's really nothing to be done so far as I can think of; since it's a public school, we students have very little freedom to alter the school since it belongs to the city.

No. Swine influenza viruses are not transmitted by food. You can not get swine influenza from eating pork or pork products. Eating properly handled and cooked pork and pork products is safe. Cooking pork to an internal temperature of 160°F kills the swine flu virus as it does other bacteria and viruses.

also...how many people check their food to see if its pink or not?

It takes a good amount of exposure to cause that kind of reaction. Consider bathroom door handles, etc
