Pandora stations as you play
I know there's a music topic, but that's all youtube videos so I'm here to ask: what do you listen to as you play FFXI/FFXIV? I have a good drum and bass station on Pandora and I alternate between that and my August Burns Red station that I'm still improving.

It really depends on what kind of mood I'm in because I have quite a few Pandora stations. It's usually one of three though:
1. The station that plays everything that I've been tuning for years
2. The station seeded with Jonathan Coulton
3. The station seeded with Nobuo Uematsu

It really just provides a good mix of instrumental music most of the time. I've had some other video game music creep through on that station as well. I know there's at least one track from Chrono Trigger floating around in Pandora. Almost all of his stuff that comes through seems to be from FFIX lately though, which I find a little odd but not unwelcome.
Hans Zimmer and Yanni primarily, not a big fan of Pandora since they added a commercial every 3-ish songs but eh.
Can we expand to what music you play on any MMO?

I'm all over the place really, one minute I could be listening to some really chill music and the next hour I could be listening to some heavy music.

I just payed the 36 bucks lol. So worth it.
I'm basically on the same boat as Catnip. But I'm very random, like listening to heavy metal one second, then the next song would be something from Immediate Music/Two Steps from Hell/etc.(the trailer music).
Then I'd listen to something like The Prodigy~ but I really just listen to music that justified the situations of what I'm doing, lol.

Try Grooveshark. No audio ads, just a sidebar for them. You can pick a couple songs and start up the radio to have it pick songs for you. Not as good as Pandora for that sort of thing, but I'll take that over audio ads every few songs. ._. Plus it seems to have most of the music I want that Pandora doesn't have.
