Merits For Drk

drk beeing just another job that was burned in abyssea n to play with later
i need some god advice onw hat is generally a good place to put in merrits. mostly to not waste em by runnnig around 20/20 all the time

Group 1:
Last Resort Effect 5/5
Last Resort Recast 5/5

Group 2:
Desperate Blows 5/5
Personal Preference
(I did Muted Soul because I never used Diabolic Eye or Dark Seal when I had them.)

Diabolic eye, I cant think of any reason why you need that much acc, and tbh Ive nvr liked anything -Hp on drk

Muted Soul, Probably still wont stop you from getting hate, Im not sure might look it up later.

After looking on ffxiclopedia i may go and rearrange my merits for group 2 because Muted Soul would give a good opportunity to always use Souleater without getting hate in exp parties unless u start banging out 1k crit back to back... nvm scratch that muted soul isnt worth it lol i guess just to be fair cause all of group 2 suck except desperate blows just put 2 into Diabolic Eye and Dark Seal then maybe 1 in muted soul. Doesnt matter much as all are situational.

Since like.... level 50 on drk I've been riding at hate cap even when holding back. I think muted soul will only do anything noticeable if you use it as you start fighting (and even then I think the job ability delay will cause more of a loss in hate than MS itself). Once all the DD's are riding near their top hate (like 20 seconds into fight) I SUPPOSE itll dull the edge of your damage spikes but I think its far to negligible to actually spend merits on. Also muted soul will *** up your usage of scarlet delirium and dread spikes :3 Plus, with full desperate blows you can just leave seigan on these days. /2cents

I had diabolic eye for a long time but only used it when i was fighting HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE evasive stuff. I fully merited dark seal so that I can use it with the same cooldown as nether void. In the end it's personal preference.
