I'm 95% sure it was bullets.

They have a few shotguns so I don't know.. shooting downward I think they would hit a few in the head no? Also they can some how manage to lock them in the barn. They can't seem to climb since they were locked in there for so long. Only issue is the window is boarded up.

He couldn't shoot a zombie that was stuck, but had no problem shooting shanbie :<

When Dale was dying last episode,I was hoping they would just let it happen naturally, to see what happened, just based on those cops Shane and Rick killed with knives. They made note that there were no bite marks, but there were some scratches, I was hoping they were gonna play on that. Instead they just jumped right to what happened with Randall.

Lol, I was gonna say something about that, then realized, at the last minute someone shot him in the head... Although it's never actually shown... So maybe that grave won't be filled for long.. When I put 2 and 2 together, dale was my first thought. If they're going to go actually go on 'zombie' based mythology, then unless the brain stem was destroyed, he could still rise up..

Anyone else think Shane got infected when he we fighting the zombies in the school bus? He did cut himself with a knife he had used to kill a zombie.

I completely agree that a lot of people wanted Shane to die (including myself), but in terms of the series--Shane really did add a lot of interesting strife/viewing value for the show. I mean, sure I can say I "want" X/Y/Z people to be killed off, but once everyone is killed off that I don't like--what then? Everyone just gets along and everything is fine? Sounds like pretty boring television at that point.

Killing off Shane kind of reminds me of (Breaking Bad Spoiler in hidden text) ; you are really left with a sort of, "well what the hell is going to happen next" feeling. Which I will fully admit, kind of draws you in a bit more, but it leaves a pretty big gap for the producers to fill in, and I get a bit nervous with both this show and Breaking Bad in terms of whether or not the show will deliver in terms of filling in that void.

The prison is upcoming, and they might meet up with a few new people, example tyrese, and if I remember right the black chick with her zombie pets, and I think randalls people are The governor and the zombie battle people. After the attack pending on the farm thats where I see this going, and for those who read the comic, Rick has got hell coming his way.

Best contrasting character that drove the story line forward is gone, now guess what they have to do?

Get a new cast.

The Wire did this to an extent, but I'm pretty sure that HBO didn't expect the show to continue as they didn't pick it back up for another two years after the end of season 3, and it only lasted 2 seasons after that. In the case of Breaking Bad, there's only 1 season left. These sorts of things usually signify the end of a show from what I've seen.

Besides the fact: Shane was the best, Rick is a vagina.

Misread the part where you linked a certain person in your spoiler. Either way, I don't see how it was bad killing off someone who played almost no influence in the comics after the first few chapters.

I lol'd at his death. It was his own stupidity in the first place. If you see dozens of walkers, would you really stop and go look at the door in the RV? His new name is Derp in my book.
