Go to japan for free and as long as you like but you can never learn the language (and if you already know it you forget it)
Country is very English-friendly. No big deal at all, and it's a great place to travel to.

Go back in time 10 years, but you are prohibited from using your knowledge to make money and every time you try to share future knowledge with someone you make a slip that causes you to be seen as a crazy person.

OR

Go forward in time 10 years and instantly acquire a comprehensive understanding of the events that occurred during the years you skipped, but be constantly questioned about your activities during the period you skipped.

Ok.

I thought about this too hard I think, but, Ima go with go back in time 10 years.

BECAUSE, "every time you try to share future knowledge with someone you make a slip that causes you to be seen as a crazy person." Worst case scenario - you are a GOD in the looney bin. Worst case scenario with "but be constantly questioned about your activities during the period you skipped." means possible FBI/IRS/CIA/who knows who will get involved.

In the same intelligent vein as Thorny...

I have no idea what that is, had to Google it. It looks like some kind of show?

Master of the Universe has a cooler name and poster though, so I'll pick that I guess.....

As for Japan v.s Japanese . I think Japanese is a useful skill to make money or search for info online so I would rather have this skill. And I don't find Japan particularly unique nor interesting when I went there years ago. It's the same food, same architecture and same tatami that I've seen/eat all the time.

I guess I've exposed to way too much Japanese cultural export to the point that it loses it's charm...

On the topic of travelling:

Travel to South East Asia

Or

Travel to North Africa?

From a safety stand point, I perceive South East Asia as a safer travel destination not sure if that is actually true or not. on the other hand I actually do have things I would like to see in North Africa, such as Egypt, but that is not to say I could not learn of things in South East Asia that I would want to go see.

final answer south east asia.

You have to do an ffxi endgame once a day do you want:
32 person events, high gather time to low game play time.

or

3 person events, 0 gather time but it is just 3 people.

32 person event, because that many people doing anything in a MMO is always madness and entertaining to watch.

Never eat Halloween candy again, unless I get a master slug prep chef.

Slugs eat feces. Every type of feces. You can get literal brain damage and diseases from eating one that isn't flushed out and prepped right.

So I guess it's, idk, same as preparing Escargo? You gotta starve the slug, wash it a bunch, cook it right, and then season the ever loving ***out of it.

And even then there's still a chance.

As someone who lives in SE Asia, I'd say its pretty safe from a physical safety standpoint. The crimes they commit here are usually the non-violent kind, mostly scam and I guess in touristy area pickpocket and petty thief. Never experienced them myself in Thailand but have been taxi scammed in Vietnam.

Was scammed in Egypt and nothing else but that was in 2005 before the Arab Spring, I wouldn't visit there now with all the instability. The pyramids was kinda boring, but the Temple of Luxor and another temple we visited was rather interesting.

Kenya was nice though, but they will tell you to close all the blinds when your van is travelling through villages to avoid being targeted.

Zimbabwe's Victoria Falls (the town around Victoria Falls) was really nice, feels like half the people there were westerner though haha. You do see the deprivation of the local people there though. The Falls was breathtaking though.

Botsawana's Livingstone just on the other side feel like a proper developing town.

Did not get scammed or felt threaten in any of these 3 countries. Well I did get pressured into buying overly expensive hand made stuff by the Masai tribe but, could have said no, just didn't have the mental fortitude.

Funnily enough, the only place I've been properly robbed was in London.

Box someone above my weight class.

Terribly afraid of height so I'd rather take my chance with the mercy of the other boxer lol. Also its what Oberyn would do!

Hoping not to derail this thread but since its over

Bus, I guess assuming you really mean public transit, I live just over 35miles from where I work no buses run from my home to work, but I can take a bus from my house to a train, then the train to a bus with 4 transfers and then I will get to work.

Google says it will only take 2hrs :D I would guess it assumes I make all the transfers which I am sure will never be running early or late. Walking says it will take 12hrs, and biking apparently 4hrs (idk about that...)
That all said my 45-1hr commute right now to 2hr change is not that bad.

Road trip 19hrs for a 1 day concert then go right back home (you can sleep first)

or

Fly to the concert.
