I dont think having calluses an unbearable characteristic, while getting old without a solid body foundation is dangerous.

I do sports with old people, and because they are always doing sports, they are resilient: they fall and get back, they are lucid, they have energy.

While many old people you know that are sedentary, you know if those people have an avarage dmg, they will hardly recover in life.

Plus that difficulty to even climb stairs. Thats definitively not something i want for life.

I actually use Edge regularly, and while I actually like it, it works well for my average usage, my only complain is about how much resources it consumes.

And I dont know silk, so I guess that settle my choice.

Now, another based in real facts case:

Supose youre undertaking a test with 70 questions, each of them with 5 alternatives (A to E) to choose.

Statistically, the amount of questions you can properly answer is a measure of how well you prepared for that test.

But also, statistically, its quite unlikely you gonna answer 70 questiosn properly: there are always 10%+ of questions that are labeled "hard" where you actually dont have a clue what to answer. You end with a situation of 20% chance to picking the right choice.

Im not talking about questions you can narrow down the alternatives to 2 or 3 (making it a 33~50% chance to pick the right one), but questions you cant even decide which alternative is completely wrong.

So

would you try to formulate a statistical strategy to decide how to answer those 20%-chance questions

would you simply guess every question at random or following some pseudocientific pattern to answer?
