Opinions? Sliced Sardine : 4 fish Sliced Cod : 2 fish Meatball : 3 fish Peeled Lobster : 7 fish Minnow : 5 fish Sinking Minnow : 3 fish Shrimp Lure : 4 fish Frog Lure : 1 fish Lizard Lure : 1 fish Best bait would be frog/lizard lure, but of course those aren't cheap and line can break. Next best bait is Sliced cod which only have 2 fish possibilities :) If you can get a hold of sliced cod easily go for it, meatballs are easy to buy though and most people go with them because of that. Im looking for advice on getting my ebsui rod items. I keep breaking alot on lik losing minnows and breaking my 2 lu shang rods about 75% of the time. Im curently have 99+5 in fishing and still have problems.

If you want to know if its normal to break that much on ebisu fish, the answer is yes it is :) Ebisu is an achievement in this game if done properly, so that is part of the challenge to it. Try not to get discouraged! Im not worryed about breaking but the actual item I get from them. I belive the fish the either break my line or rod has the item in it. Would more fishing skill gear or mog house furnishings help?

Would more fishing skill gear or mog house furnishings help? It is possible, unlikely though. Just have to keep trying. Yeah, I fond one of the old fishing database sites. I really miss Titanictus forums. Also I've been wounding about the new fishing items from the boxes, what level are the mobs? - or better yet is there a thread with info about them?

The monsters are any monster in the zone that the book is in, low or high level (I personally got my fishing torque on the bats right by where you pop the irongiant VW NM). mrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaawr giant donko! I has no frog lure, whats the next best thing for rabao?

Trout balls work ok for them, but the frog lure is best.
what about rogue/robber rig? D:
wiki says they work but I've tried ***wiki says for 1-2hrs+ then switched to something else and caught all my fish in a row Bismarck.Dreadnot

I've never tried a robber/rogue for them but I'd think it would be more of a random brute force catch then a normal lure/bait attracting catch. (Meaning it's rare) I've tried Robber/Rogue on other fish listed and it rarely caught them.

tralalalala
thinking 2 stacks of trout balls would do the trick? Has anyone ever done the aquatic depopulation mmm thing? :o
idk lol i got 1 stack of peeled crayfish, should be 95 more than enough err forgot stacks are 99 now xD
they should add homepoint crystals at each guild >;3

I'm not sure but I always believed that when you fish up a guttable fish they have no items in them, but when zaldon guts them its just random if you get the item or not. Just sounds like how it would be coded 0/12 for frog lure, would of crapped myself if I got a lizard lure today.

There is 5+ fishing spots and different fiah give different points, but in the original maze(Fresh Water), the best thing to do in my opinion is use Shrimp Lure and go to the first pond on the left when you enter. It can only catch mobs+monke onke and monke gives 500 points which is one of the highest. Sometimes its a little luck base for the bite rate but if your solo, I think its your best chance. Also would like to point out that those rings really don't help that much.
If you look at the fish ID (I know, kinda major cheating right there) with all 4 id's you can see the difference between rings and MMM rings are by far the weakest out of all of them. I'm not sure why they did that :( thats what I figured anyways, honestly just wanted to try it out for something to do and perhaps the chart
just turned in my silk and shoot :3 Asura.Fondue said: » thats what I figured anyways, honestly just wanted to try it out for something to do and perhaps the chart just turned in my silk and shoot :3 And I don't mean to discourage anyone from trying the MMM, it really is pretty fun to do. I just don't want your expectations to be high for what you're trying to get. Carbuncle.Snoochybooch
