I don't see the benefit of pizzas.

Very cheap food, very easy to make, at LV40 cooking. Also lasts 3 hours for one serving. Even the HQ, which lasts 4 hours, is no more than 5k on my server.
Rather use over Chiefkabobs?

But look at it this way. Sole Sushi:

* Dexterity +6

STR+5, DEX+6, and ACC+15%. For your average build, considering there's no cap on Sole, you would get about 45-50 ACC from it. So you're trading off 5 ACC, 5 STR, and 6 DEX for 50 Attack. Or for HQ, you lose 6 STR and 6 DEX for 55 attack.
If you're at 95% accuracy, I'd go chief. Otherwise, pizza is good as long as you don't die and are out 4-6k or have an event on another job that you don't want to use pizza on. lol
All in all, pizza's a nice combo of sushi and meat.
And meat isn't adding "Ranged Attack". From what I know, the preferred food there is Coeurl Subs.

Does the pizza effect ranged attack or just attack?
Just attack from what I know. You'll need things like Coeurl Subs, Dhalmel Pies, Coeurl Sautee, etc. to increase Ranged Attack.
Pizza is strictly melee stats.
P.S., while we're on the topic, what is the best food for RNG that's still affordable enough to use on Colibri? I know Coeurl Subs are pretty good but somehow they jumped to 20k a stack on my server so eh.

Get someone to craft it for you? It's 10-12k on most other servers. :P And yeah, I'd say subs. Since that's like +75 rng. atk.
For a drk, I'd go pizza or sole/crab sushi. Sole's nice and all... But crab's uber cheap and still gives ~+14% acc or so.

Not sure E, all Rngs I see are like rich as *** with E-bows and stuff, so the price of subs is a joke. ; ;

for rng i use yellow curry or hedgehog pies if im feeling saucy. curry not so bad at 4k on my server and lasts 3 hours. pies are a little pricy at 11kish and also lasting 3 hours.
Yeah, but then you have to keep in mind RNGs lose food once every ~3 mobs. Lol.

Steak is good, but... I tend to shy away from non-stackable 3-4 hour food. It's also a HQ of a lvl 65 synth and I'd bet significantly harder to acquire than Coeurl Subs.

Same here, but it's ultimately cheaper to get the 4 hour food that costs 10k. Lasts 8 hours with Sanction bonus and then you don't have to worry about food again for the rest of the party, unless you're fighting Colibri.
There are currently 3 Marbled Steaks on the AH and they're rarely ever not in stock because they're a good skillup choice.
Again, it comes down to the server you're on though. While your subs are much more expensive, mine are cheap.
As for the steak though we get about 1 in AH per day and they're currently out of stock costing 7k ea.

true. and some ppl can get them crafted like you said. and can probably farm some of the ingredients if they run out so you can save money that way too.
