£7.99 monthly fee, 50p for every additional character. I pay £9.99 for my FFXI, which is just three to four less drinks at the pub a month. =P

I want to know where you can get a pint for ~ £2.50? £9.99 is 2-3 drinks in most places around here. :P
As for the exchange rate, it doesn't mater what it does, companies still manage to rip us off. Most stuff is 1USD = 1GBP (even when the exchange rate was 2:1). So the dollar doing badly just means we are slightly less ripped off. :(

I can understand that. When I lived in the UK, I always noticed the cost of living is generally more expensive. :|

It depends, prices vary, and on Sundays at our local during live football they're only £2.000. :D!
