As promised:  This is from Kuzuhaeki, facing north. Don't mind the obstructions though, thats the best photo I could get.  This is from Daimonjiyama, looking down at Kyoto  Same place, different view. Just a few pictures I have for you, I did take a picture of the mountains from my bus stop like I promised also, but unfortunally the mountains are too far away for my camera to get a good shot of. So, instead, here are some other view photos that I think you would like.

Considering that I actually climbed a mountain to take these pictures......is achievement enough. You wouldn't believe how exhausted I was when I climbed it. Texas doesn't have mountains, they have hills. And people don't climb hills, we drive thru them. Strangly enough, this wasn't the first mountain I climbed, but it was the last lol. To remember that day, I had my friend/roommate (who kindof forced me to go up the mountain with him) took a picture of me. But, not being a fool, I'm not going to show that photo, because I'm not stupid.

Wow, those are very lovely indeed. Such a nice view. I wish I could go there myself, Japan always looks so nice. Did the mountain take a long time to climb? Took about 1 and a half hours for me. Took every Japanese person climbing that about an hour, since they are used to it. I was dead tired when I got up there too. Also, it was wooded, meaning no stairs to climb up until the last 100 yards.....up Don't climb any mountains unless you are really ready to. Try Fushimiinariyama before climbing any sizable mountains if/when you get here. Thats a relativly small mountain with stairs.

Fushimiinari is one of the most picturesque spots to climb. So many shrines and torii to take pictues of. That, and Kyoto looks so beautiful at night when you make your way to the top. Not so great when your cell phone is dead, there are no lights, and you can't find your way down. Think I ended up trekking through some people's backyards before I finally reached the bottom. Ahhh memories.

WEll done thats alot harder than it looks, nobody appreciates the decrease in oxygen in the atmosphere at altitude unless they have done it themselves.

so he's a nothing. to the best of my knowledge, they require you to abandon any other citizenship in order to get theirs... unless they changed it very recently, that's how it is... which is why as much as I love and dream about (modern) Japan, I'll most likely never live there, it's almost like asking a person to betray his/her parents before he/she can marry you, I'll rather stay home and perhaps visit someday nice pics from a nice country ^^

Texas has hills? your probably right... i must of drove through them >< being I'm in shithole Louisiana our highest hill is probably still below sea level in this oh so wondrous place.

I think you have to be under 22 before deciding which nationality you want to be, under Japan's rules.
I'm not sure.
I just know they don't allow dual nationalities.
