To be fair, Harden Shell is pretty damn powerful. Guess I can't complain too much.

Anything new about WAR and if they did revamp certain weaponskills on the test server. Mind checking descriptions?

Can't see why WAR would want or need any Weaponskill revamps @>@

Well the new job abilities, also I have other jobs D:

Did they atleast redo Savage Blade? Also I hit edit and it posed twice woot D:

Edit:
It would be awesome if Savage Blade was similar to say true strike is all. Some Quested WS are lackluster or for skillchains only.

Hmm maybe i missed it but, thunderbolt and harden shell, do they eat up blue points or they full time spells just under the JA? seems nice if it is the later.

They're always set, but you can only use them with the JA. They function similar to SCH spells under Addendum.

great thread, cant wait for the update now..its gonna be an alliance of blus out there learning spells ~.~

1 second cast time on heavy strike is pretty nice. I expected mortal ray to suck as bad as 1000 needles

The only spells I have an issue with would be Thunderbolt and Harden Shell. Harden Shell isn't bad in itself, but 90 seconds is a bit short. Thunderbolt is just underpowered a smidge. I would expect it to at least be a little closer to CW.

Er, Thunderbolt is almost identical to CW.

Same fTP, same element, same M value, 40% int instead of 50% dex which is kind of a wash, you pick up a few points of total stats and few MAB by switching to int/mab rather than dex/mab.

Disadvantages are 5m timer, advantages are stun and not having to set it.

sounds like heavy strike is either going to take over or team with quad as the main physical dd spell now

dINT*2, 30% INT 20% MND, 4fTP

dINT*2, 50% DEX, 4.5fTP

...identical? Not even close.

Stats I saw were M=2, 40% int and 4.5fTP, maybe someone else got them wrong.

I'm busy testing physical blue magic at the moment.

Does Auto-crit mean that it's enhanced by Crit Damage gear? The only other Crit Spell I've used before is Sickle Slash at the earlier levels.

That's what everyone is thinking of you right now.

Nah, only people who live in ffxi 24/7, hover these forums as a second job and save Meme's to use as replies in threads. Life {Do you have it?}

I *** love your pictures.

On a serious note, can anyone please find out if using ABS-Attri and Nethervoid in conjunction with Bale Flanchard +2 allows the Dark Knight to absorb three status effects as opposed to two?

And what is the casting time/recast on this spell.

Without even testing it myself, it should most definitely be affected by crit damage gear, just like any other BLU spell is (when it crits). Maybe time to replace GH with SS from now on I suppose.

So far I've ascertained:

2.0fTP 50%STR 50%something (most likely CHR, double checking) and auto crits. Sick spell.

Sorry for posting twice, but saw this after I posted. This is BLU forum bud, DRK forum is currently QQing about their new ability, so you may want to go there instead.

I'm playing around with some DRK stuff at the moment, I'll post results over in the DRK thread when I'm done.

BLU stuff:

Fast Cast trait is now 10% to match RDM's base trait, but Isador is still 5%. Occultation gets an extra shadow at 450 skill.

EDIT: Uh, guess DRK QQ thread got deleted. I'll post in main thread then.

Not going to read through 7 pages to see if it's already been said, but no new martial arts trait for mnk at 95

naked, 4.6 tp/punch (projected), 10 punches, 46 tp. Tp gain remains the same as 90

They don't have any of the new trials up

h2h skill at 90 requires both tantra gloves and faith torque for +1 dmg (as at 90, both of them together was +2 dmg)

Sudden Lunge seems to be 1.0 fTP and 50% STR 50% AGI.

~1.75 fTP @300 ~ 1.45 @ 150 TP.
