Hey all was wondering how do i go about low manning this KSNM? any details will help thanks!
2 smns and a rdm. lowest you can prob do it.
A very well skilled/geared rng/nin can solo DD and tank it at 90, with whm and brd for backup.
As for a normal low numbers fight~ -- 1-2 /nin tanks with fire resistance sets. RDM/NIN works very well if you don't have major spike DD's (or viable if they slow DD enough as to not die). PLD/NIN prefered but RNG/NIN works nicely as well since they have access to the major fire resist gears and can DD in the air. -- whm with good barspell gear -- DD's who can hit it while in air (blm, sch, rdm, rng, cor) We used to do this all the time as a merc service with 6 characters at 75 cap (4 people plus 2 duoboxed). rdm/nin, rng/nin, whm, brd, blm, and last melee DD was [drg/sam/drk/war] to help make light/frag with rng. If I remember correctly, at ~72% it flies. You want to start a skillchain like frag or light at about 80% (maybe sooner at 90 cap). When the last ws hits, it will fly and have your mages all nuke MB to hopefully knock it down right away. If it doesn't come down then, mages need to not pull hate but bring it down quickly as possible. It becomes a mp sink while flying too long. Has draw-in and loves to follow it up with fire aoe spam. When it falls, fight just like Fafnir until dead. This is also 75 cap info -- haven't tried it at 90 but there is a video as I said of a Emp rng/nin solo tanking/dd on it somewhere. NIN/RNG with a excellent fire resist set, and tons of Shurikens or a ranged weapon + RDM/WHM can duo it, pretty sure 2 is the lowest you'll be able to win with.
I was able to dual box it NIN/RNG + RDM/WHM, but was very very close on time. This is the fire resist set I used: minus the flame sachet for a RA weapon when it starts to fly, and I used Neptune's Staff. M.Eva Sekka+2x2 would be better... they're just stupid hard to get. I had my RDM mule stay really far back and tail tanked it while it was on the ground to avoid terror, you just need to keep up with shadows, but at 90 it shouldn't be any issue at all. When it starts to fly have the RDM throw DoTs on and start dealing as much DMG as you can on NIN with Ranged attacks/Barrage/Sange, or a Futae nuke here and there with nuke set. Have the RDM throw out nukes while trying to not pull hate off of the NIN. With my set and barfira I never really got hit for more than 20DMG. Phoenix.Crimsontears

Trioed BLM/RDM, PLD/WAR, and RDM/WHM(dual boxed) recently for BB item farming.
Can be trioed by Drk Rdm and a Blm. Drk very well geared Rdm was very well geared blm was decently geared enough to bring him to the ground.
Drk also had a Apocalypse BLU/whatever + RDM = extremely easy fight. Spam delta thrust until it dies, QC if MP permits. I'm sure BLU/RDM with meds and decent fire resist build would have no trouble soloing it. Takes about 8-10m depending on how many times you get terrorized.
It flies @66% and lands @33%. BLU spells will hit him in the air just like any other wyrm. Can also do RDM/NINx2, and both Chainspell when it starts to fly to bring it down really quick. Might not even need to chainspell, that's just what the RDMs did in the video.

u dont need any of the fire set and strats above, the KSNM is pretty easy, a rdm/whm or whm and a Tank that can deal dmg can duo it, the hard part is when its in the air, u need to be able to deal dmg while it is in the air, like stated a few post above Ranged and Magic Attks works just fine while the Dragon is in the air, and it appears to behave like this

i duo it blu and a bst, the best get the first part until it start to fly, then i spam my spell on him to bring him down, then the bst finish it.
I duoed with Illidarius, I was on Bst/whm with Gooey Gerard, send pet in for 100-66% and 33-0%, in the meantime just stay back and barfira/heal myself/partner from occasionnaly damage during the reward run-in/out of the fight area and snarl accordingly,takes like 13 minutes duo with Blu/rdm ;)
SAM/WAR - Shoha+Namas/Apex
WHM Takes this guy down very very fast. Blu shreds this thing in the air. No doubt I think its the best job for the...job. Pup does a wonderful job too with ranged frame, but if you can maintain your mp, nothing is beating blu for this.
Think it would be possible to duobox this with BST and BLM in-line with the duo from above? I wold like to use BLU for this, but BST and BLU are on my main and my mule only has BLM atm. My mule is decently geared, nothing spectacular however, I'd say average for a mule.

Don't have SCH leveled past 49 on my mule, how well geared would the mule need to be to pull that off?
Lowest man you can do it is Solo
BLU can solo it as can SCH and i believe a Good BLM but youtube draylo's vid and you'll see how he did it. This is my vid of it:
It was at 95 cap so its a lot easier now and a change I would make is a fire resist build for when hes in the air as it would be more mp efficient than just a MDT set. 3:41 always gets me, man. <_< "OH ***, OH ***, OH ***"
