apoc's aftermath gives 10% gear haste, figure it out from there

If you can 5-hit Apoc I would do that, I havent bothered doing any serious Math for an AM build for Apoc, dont care too much for mine at the moment, hopefully they will buff it to make it worth using next update.

I know I don't have Apoc, but I'm trying to get my sets ready for when I do.

As far as AM goes I have.



Could switch to that Quad. attack neck if you can find it, but this keeps your 5 hit build and a bit over capped haste.

And obv. you could use armada hauberk if you got sTP5 or higher with DA(which you have.)

Also, those +da% pants are nice, but they're sooo ugly. ; ;

If you're subbing SAM you should try to 5 hit.

For Red Curry Buns or any other food I would use this:

It's pretty much the same as Cheynes but I prefer Aurum over Askar.

I recently found out about Spaghetti Arrabbiata and built an entire set around using it.

The Attilas earring can be replaced with the regain Moonshade earring.

Check out the item sets on my FFXIAH page. They go into more detail about STP required for each set.

There are a TON of different setups you could use these days that would be pretty much equal to one another (or damn near). I see a lot of people dropping bale cuirass for DA or other stat options, when it's kinda hard to beat the 4% crit and 38 attack on it.

I guess what i'm saying is just because you CAN drop 10% gear haste... you don't necessarily HAVE to. I'll post some gearsets later. But trash those 2 gearsets you posted OP. If you're not 5-hitting you should work on that first and foremost.

thanks for all the feedback everyone! about 5-hitting, wouldn't being close to it and using the regain from moonshade earring work as well? and yeah i know we don't necessarily have to drop all the haste, was just trying to stack up as most DA as I could :<

Here are my current sets, almost perfect and I refuse to use Indian legs.
Only upgrade atm would be a G.Mala but my WHM mule gets all the VW drops.

5hit for trash mobs - ACC/ATT doesn't matter (old content, 90% of Abyssea)



Ebody has DA+3, STP+6

6hit for high tier mobs (new content, VW, Dynamis, upper tier Abyssea)



V.Breatplate has Zanshin+5 TA+2

Arrabbiata isn't a good food to make a build around, its super rare on every server. Moonshade regain isn't good to make a build around either, too many variables to make it better then bale or abyssal earring. Moonshade is a WS/refresh earring.
