10k for Alexandrites????????
Looking for someone to sale Alexandrites at a normal price 5-6k each.. I am sick of the 9k-10k crap!!!!!

Keep in mind the "normal price" for something isn't static, given the demand for alexs vs the supply be glad there not 15kish. The buyers determine the price, if they are paying 9-10k consistantly then that is now the normal price.
Not Really a Normal price, I been getting a lot for 5-6k each, Just few random mules still holding on to Alexs 9-10k.... Looking for someone to sale full time. 5-6k each

May be true but that's the falt of people buying for high prices, if they didn't get bought the prices would go back down,
Also there is supposed to be an overhaul of AU systems comming up i think over the next few months so that will probably correct things. Might be worth holding out for it if your building a mythic.

Ppl still do Salvage a lot, the reason why price goes up so high is because more ppl working on Mythic now, after finishing empy and everything else in Abyssea they got nothing to do and nowhere to spend gil. Someone in my LS just told me she wants to start mythic quest yesterday because this game is too easy, and she wants to try something hard and worth an accomplishment.
The alex I've seen on the market isn't that much lower than 1 year ago.
Although they used to be cheaper, but it's also harder to make money back then with more expensive AH gears to buy.
And tbh, even if SE fix Salvage and increase the alex drop rate, I doubt the price will come back down to 3k, cuz that'll just make more ppl start building a mythic.

I'd say it's a combination of the supply lowering and the demand going up, not just the demand going up.
I was more refrencing that if they could increace the drop rate (maybe adding 100 types) or tweek the alex reqirement to something lower makeing farming alexs more viable then having to buy every one you can to make good time. Like dyna currency the price will remain the same but you can farm more faster now if you do it right.

Just spam arra, thats what most people who sell alex do if thats what theyre going for. Other than that what is said is true. I can bazaar 200+ alex at 10k-15k and it will be gone by the time I wake up. Just laws of supply and demand.
Curious, why Arra? I've had better luck with SSR.

Arra nets you the most reliable amount of nms to kill on the run, thereby, most chances at purses. Plus a good floors worth of gears for singles.

As much as i hate it that people are up to 10k+ on alexandrite and I think its VerY OUTTA control. Put in your search comment and random people will sell to you. I regret not buying more @ 2k each. I sold a bunch when i thought my Mythic days were dead and i couldnt get people to help with stuff. Now that my dreams are being relived, alexandrite is now 10-15k and people dont wanna move on it cause stupid people are paying that much for it.
