Yeah, I am factoring that in. Empy does some good QD numbers (obviously not as good as DP) due to its very high base damage.
And yeah, I factor in outside of abyssea. COR with empy rips apart voidwatch.

Rank 3: Gil or Roundel Earring
Rank 4: Love Torque (Which if they definitely are trade able, I'll get one)

If the lv95 and 99 versions of death penalty just add another 15% damage each to leaden, it will topple wildfire easily... assuming you have appropriate dark element builds as you would fire builds for wildfire. Also I think the damage boost to QD is being underestimated. It was +20% at lv75, no clue what it is now.
As far as dmg boost goes would have to wait and see. Nothing to stop them from adding a wsdmg bonus to empy weapons at 95 and 99 as well.
Oh I don't understimate the QD boost at all. I understimate Leaden compared to WF. Of course I may be wrong since I don't have a DP(I wish I had a DP!)

Does Dark Shot > Leaden Salute work the same as Fire shot > Wildfire?

Yeah I'd definitely just use the element the mob is weak to(or weather/day related), then Leaden without boots boost(neat boots boost!)

If you wanna do the math correctly, dont forget to calculate the amount of gil you could make in the time you would spend farming dynamis/asking for help farming Attestations, etc (for relics) or the amount of time doing Einherjar/Nyzul Isle/Assault/Salvage/Bazaaring for Alexandrite. Don't forget the time you have to spend doing the trials from 75~>90. I wouldn't take gil over a finished Mythic.
