Why So Many BSTs Without A Subjob?

I've noticed this weird trend about Beastmasters lately: they all go around without a subjob.
It's mostly common among JP players, and I don't think they're RMTs because they've got some sort of "legit" names and are Rank 10.

BST main, crappy gear and no subjob. Is this some sort of hidden challenge among the BST community, something like getting to 90 with as less effort as possible or what? :\ I really can't explain this lol.

These are the true essence of pure BSTness, without disgusting matters like dilution with a lesser "subjob".

crappy mediocre bsts that can't do the job right by wearing generic gear , you don't need subjob for bst tho, but it's nice and helpful to have one, i do know old bsts that doesn't even use pdt axes or wear af3 legs or basic stuff but outdated items, more like town bsts for the lols
