Warhammer 40k tabletop
Kinda crappy picture quality and lighting, sorry about that. Just a few models I picked cause I got sick of looking for a well lit place -.- And The organ on my Exorcist apparently fell apart and its a huge pain to put back together so I left it out. My old man won a paint competition thingy they held in teh store where i am. He enter just for lulz and ended up beating the 4 year champion XD lol. :x was kinda funny. They asked if they could keep it for a few weeks to keep it in the display.
Your armies make me want to start playing again :/
Phoenix.Lyali said: why does something this silly exist? Is that a pipe organ on treads? Probably something to boost morale
/shrug Its a pipe organ that shoots missiles out of the pipes while it plays.

I've played 40k since 2nd edition. Also a lot of retrospect games of rogue trader (not everyone around here adopted 2nd when it came out, sort of like DnD) stopped around the beginning of 4th ed, Just returned about a year ago.
I'm not a big fan of 5th edition (current ruleset for those who don't play) since it really rewards marine spam. Also GW's business model revolving around buffing each new codex to trump the last in order to sell more product of that line. Nor do I care for the high pressure sale environment of my local GW store. A lot of us are moving onto Warmachine and Hordes. It's price point is about what 40k was a few years ago but on average is pretty decent. That said, I don't hate the game or the robust clusterfork universe they've created. Probably never will. I "play" Tyranid and Eldar. Though I still have around 1800points of Chaos Squats I think about repainting and basing them all for the odd looks plopping them down on the table. I always wanted to play this, but I could never be bothered to paint and it's so expensive to get them painted.
A bunch of my friends used to play. I wanted to, but I couldn't afford to get into it. My one friend gave up on playing when his entire hand-painted Chaos army(5000 points I think) got stolen.
i used to play but i was more into painting the miniatures, with some pretty damn results.
Only problem i had was that the price of the miniatures was damn too expensive in italy. In milan we had a Citadel workshop, but the prices were the same of parallel import >.<; P.S. you dont need to buy theyr "official colours" or "Official brushes", they suck, they are expensive and any other water based colour for painting miniatures will do. A lot of truth to this. Also if you have some good foundation painting skills, oils can do an amazing job if you use them properly. where the hell is all the tau?!
ps my favourite was the empire and the britannic if i remember correct
