Let's talk Starcraft.
Great RTS game, can't wait for Heart of the Swarm. Any of you guys play competively online?
I enjoy playing. I don't ladder much, but I'm working to improve my game so I can.
EU Krizzle #904 US Krizz #532 Edit: Going to try to keep track of names/codes here.
Barely got gold 1v1, stopped playing because nobody I knew was interested. Still enjoy it though, except I wish the past few updates hadn't all been nerfs to toss.
I'm terrible at multiplayer for this game but TBH I never got into it
When they say Macro manage THEY MEAN IT xD! also i'm not use to have my troops wiped out that fast if I slip up Toss is still a powerhouse. Just look at Naniwa, HuK, and MC to see that.
I still don't know how I ended up in gold 1v1. I did it as protoss, but I've since switched to Terran. Still debating on if I want to stick with it, go back to Toss, or just switch to random for a bit for the lulz. MC is OP man. His micro is *** insane.
But yeah, I think Zerg is getting really good lately. They did great at MLG and dreamhack. Infestors are awesome when utilized well. Toss is still good its just demotivating that every time they update it's to take away something.

That's why I was trying to get some friends into it. Infestors are so ridiculous. My big issue lately has been mutalisks. I can counter just about anything else from a zerg.
Edit: Unit testing maps are nice to see exactly how many units you need to counter a specific number of units or compositions of units. Unfortunately the issue is getting the timing down. Muta's getting popular. When micro'd correctly they can be SO annoying. And really dangerous as terran to drop when they're flying around.
You play as T or P? Goddamn bunker rushes. :S
Playing v terrans always bummed me out. I got a lot of my early experience vs. the computer, which was always aggressive, so I didn't know how to handle terrans especially when they turtled lol.
Once I get comfortable with defending mutas, I need to work on my rushes. As much as I despise them, there are some people I just don't want to play a macro game against.

Yeah, you generally don't engage turtled terrans, you just hurt their economy and force them to push you. 75% of the time when they are forced to push they'll be in a horrible position and you'll just run over them. I've been waiting on this thread for a LONG time.
So did ya'll watch HomeStory Cup III?
I haven't done any ranking matches yet this season. I play Terran.

I'll probably just wait until then. My brother is super into SC, he plays 'toss. His friend plays zerg. They're *** unbeatable. :\

True spoiler: Sounds like a good final game, watching it now. Sylph.Beelshamen said: Lmao he won another won? He's on a roll. Guess that training in Korea really helped. Funny how the major names in the NA ladder aren't really winning much but stay up there mostly.
Like Select and kiwikaki. Sylph.Beelshamen said: Funny how the major names in the NA ladder aren't really winning much but stay up there mostly. Like Select and kiwikaki. Select is pretty good. Too inconsistent from what I've seen. I'm watching GSL right now. So many matches today that I'm not going to get to finish them all.
What do you think about Idra and his BM?
I don't really watch GSL. Not to be weird, but not really into the Korean pro scene. I love to see them in NA/EU tournaments but that's about it. I prefer non-korean events.
