Hey guys.

If you have some tips / tricks / strategy to share in regards to Voidwatch Tier 1-4 Path-specific NMs. Please share here^^

Currently im having a rather difficult time with Bastok Path Tier 2 NM in Gusgen Mines.: Lorbulcrud ... Wiped a few times to it spamming Fluid Spread for 1300ish dmg. Tried versatile alliance and with Pet jobs (but it seem to do alot of hate reset causing it to wonder around targeting players - maybe after casting magic??) So kinda running out of ideas even though it can be killed by only 4 people.:

I wanna try with an Ochain or Aegis PLD with S. Sherzo BRD and Earthen Armour SMN in the same PT, but so far i havent been able to find a PLD with one of those shields...

Here are some tips from my 2 fights so far.:

Bastok Path:

North Gustaberg
T1 Sallow Seymour (WORM) Rifted Portal @ (M-7)
- This guy can be a bit of a pain because of 3 things.:
1. This might be the first fight most people have done in a year without abyssea buffs :D
2. He uses Draw-in (Draw In Uses this on the player with most hate if they are out of melee range.) and Mud Stream which can hurt quite a bit and reset emnity.
3. Also uses Tier 4 Aga magic (Stonega III-IV and Stoneja etc.)

Tips to kill this guy is SMN'ers, they work wonderfully for doing some nice fast dmg to this guy, however there are still draw-in and mud stream to be prepared for here and there.

North Gustaberg (S)
T1 Ushumgal (PEISTE) Planar Rift @ (F-10)

Tips.: Quite honestly i dont remember much from this fight - we did it with a versatile group consisting of NIN,THF,SMN,BST,WHM and BLUx2 + BLMx2 and it was easy as h... compared to the Worm at least.
Uses GAZE attacks that can petrify or zombify anyone facing it so BLU's are great for this but like I said, there isnt much else to this fight as he doesnt use any AGA Magic or draw-in or hate-reset TP moves.

You don't need an ochain pld for anything these VWNMs are pretty easily handled by a good (skilled) group of people. The only nm we actually used a pld on was hahava everything else was just a melee tank. You can blink Fluid toss/spread so a GOOD(can't stress this enough) nin tank would work. You can probably stun(I don't remember if it's stunable, almost every VWNM is) any ga's if they are a problem for you or just eat them with baraero shell and carols or mdef roll. From those ss it looks like a mnk brd whm and probably a blm or another whm. I don't remember the fight at all but we've done all the t4's already. Here's some more info on the BGwiki, they suggest 2 tanks and you can try doing skillchain magicburst dmg to it.

I've been collecting the tips I find in threads and adding them to the individual NM pages on the BGwiki pages. I've also included a general all-purpose consensus guide on how to beat Voidwatch NMs on the main page.

http://wiki.bluegartr.com/bg/Voidwatch

The biggest strategy revelation about Voidwatch that I think I've gathered is that there's almost no point to doing it with less than ~10 people. If you want items (and realistically that's the motivation for every event), then you'll need to proc Red and Blue on the monsters, which requires bringing a lot of different jobs.
