I remember loving the fact I killed De'Vyu Headhunter as a 50WHM with pretty shitty gear. Hated asking for help.

[4] Game you think is overrated: To be honest, I don't think I find any games overrated. People love different things, and they are entitled to rave about them all they want. It's actually a pet peeve of mine when people hate on a game just because "it's overrated". I see it more as "This game is popular, and I hate it for that." At least for a lot of people, anyway. There are, of course, cases where people just don't feel the game was that fun or interesting to them, and it has nothing to do with any hype they may have heard.

[6] First game you played: I guess probably the first Mario Bros., on NES. My mom actually used to play a lot of NES games when I was little, and I watched her mostly until I was old enough to reasonably play games for myself.

Most people don't know this but you could actually beat Pitfall for the Atari. After traversing the terrain for a while you would get to a point where you jumped over a hole and your character stop and would be suspended in mid air.

Personal, being 7 yrs old on Christmas day and coming home from my grandmothers thinking I wouldnt get to play my new FF2(US) cause it was too late at 10pm. My father and I stayed up to 5:30am playing...We had a blast and it's one of my favorite memories in life, not just video gaming.

Game wise, Aeris getting stabbed really got me. I never seen that before in a game where a main character, got killed. I had that "holy ***" disbelief face on for hours, thinking she'd come back somehow. It was before you could find everything out online, or even thought to. Good job SquareSoft, good job

You cant redo a level and have your weapons upgraded to where you actually had them, it starts you at a base level for the level you choose so its less than you would have earned playing through.

[2] Too large a gap between the drop rates of rare items and the rarer items. (drop rates tended to be 1/64-1/1000 then jump to 1/18,000-1/27,000 for very marginally better items, in fact certain items had drop rates as high as 1/299594 from not so common enemies.)
