[1] Tough one. I have many but I'll just go with
Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne.
[2] The series' usual Law/Chaos/Neutral with branching paths > Nocturne's mostly linear "Reasons". And as cool as Dante is, including his goofy DMC2 incarnation and having him involved with the
storyline seemed very out of place.
[3] The art direction (Kazuma Kaneko is truly the king of demons) and the fact the SMT ditches almost all JRPG cliches.
Just look at the damn protagonist.
[4] Golden Sun. They're solid games, but so incredibly uninspired. That, and the characters never shut the hell up.
[5] 1990
[6] My father was an avid gamer from the beginning. Despite having a gigantic collection of games to pick from growing up, my first game unfortunately had to be
Burger Time (from what I can remember at least). Thanks to this game, I stopped liking eggs.
[7] No idea, I actually don't remember finishing many games as a kid. Most of the other kids on the block (or my parents) would beat me to the punch.
[8] Getting CoP done with at 4AM.
[9]
Dark Law: Meaning of Death
[10] I can't choose between From Software, Atlus (USA), and Enix (sorry folks, I just like Dragon Quest and Actraiser better).
[11] PC, for emulation and obscure RPGs alone.
[12] I tend to follow RPGs/dunjin crawlurz, but I'll have fun with anything multiplayer.
