It made me laugh which means it fits the criteria of the thread's title. It's relevant to the forum because this is a Final Fantasy related site. I'm well aware of the things you mentioned. In fact, perhaps to your surprise based on how you worded that little jab, I am /not/ shocked to hear of other countries with English speaking citizens.

While we, in North America may not be the only "Country" (See: Continent) that uses English, the contest, as pointed out by Esdain, is for North American Regions, which is also high-lighted by the posted Screen Shot. SE simply gave us a place to post our screen shots of us playing as GEO or RUN at their official English twitter account.
The very LOL part is that as part of the North American Regional Rune Fencer and Geomancer Screen Shot Contest is that there is a chance that NO ONE from North America will win.
