Used to make bank off bonecraft like 7 years ago...
Just recently returned to FFXI; Kinda curious if BC is worth a ***any more..

Is it really worth putting the time into..? i blew 200mil + on bonecraft and thats not including what i put into the subs... Im curious if Synergy is just Hot atm because its the new craft.. Am i gonna waste my time with it like i did with BC?

If you're asking if synergy is profitable the answer is probably no; however, synergy is about to become a lot more useful in this upcoming update.

Screw Synergy level woodworking

It's what they're using to synth a lot of the higher level armor and weapons. If you're looking to make big money by crafting I'd say that's where it's at. There are very few synths from the normal crafts that will pull in the money like some of the synergy recipes. Perhaps if you can craft the -1 version of cursed items you can still see some profit but otherwise it's not going to be as much as it used to.

If you spend that much on synergy you are defenitely doing it wrong~ That being said it is worth every gil you invest as most crafts now use it WITH the other crafts

Except you're still required crafts besides synergy to do those. I'm not sure how many people will want to help someone make that much gil without a cut.

He said he already had BC 100 and leveled subs so he should be pretty good. You will need other characters with level crafts to synth certain items, but that's synergy.

I know he said that. I just said I have 100 bonecraft as well, and it is useless.

Woodworking good too for those ninjar tools.

None of the good items from synergy even require bonecraft at all.
