Neither of these are scary but I would say they do show the shock value of the homefront storyline which creeped me out quite a bit.

The second one when you see the mass grave at first is bad enough but then that part.....

you minded you own business, exploring, or walking off from a boss fight and BAM! It comes crashing in trying to kill you!

Holy ***my heart would be pounding whenever that *** Samus appeared in the room. "Please don't find me please don't find me please don- ***" *LE FLEE*

My accuracy was suddenly perfect when you had to shoot ***to make a path to escape from her.

Maybe someone said this already, but pretty much all of deadspace.
you'd hear the music and think OHNO SOMETHING'S GONNA POP OUTTA NOWHERE, then you get down the corridor and nothing does. so you relax.
about 5 second later BAM ***! one of the ones with the scythes for arms pops outta nowhere and *** you up. I knew it was gonna happen, yet i jumped like every time.

I hate dolls. Giant, blood soaked, homicidal ones are about as bad as it gets. Not to mention, it gives a pretty big hint as to what's going on in Shepherds Glen. And the music is terrifyingly beautiful.

If you're into Silent Hill lore and understand the White Claudia Theory, this is a pretty chilling conversation and is the major foundation said theory stands on.

This scene get's me because of how... I dunno, I'd say it pretty much embodies everything about religious fanatics that scares me. Only difference is that in Silent Hill, their "God" is a proven being and routinely interferes with our world. With devastating outcomes.

This is from the bat ***insane part of Silent Hill 2 in the Labyrinth chunk. Basically, Eddie is starting to snap from the pressure of Silent Hill and is starting to reveal why he was "pulled" in.

End of the Labyrinth section of Silent Hill 2, when Eddie completely loses it. Yay trigger happy fet guy with self esteem issues! Also: Bullying is bad.

When Oblivion first came out I got it right away. Now I was a kid that never really played any video games. Well when you start off in oblivion you're put into the underground area. That place freaked me out so much I quit right off the start(I later came back and conquered my fear of things) but I would have to say that's one of my more memorable times.

Also Amnesia, need I say more?

Honestly the dungeons in Oblivion scared me too. The music in particular.

Then again, it was because the graphics were so good (at the time) that made them so believable.

I remember being ridiculously over cautious in dungeons while playing Oblivion, and constantly jumping out of my seats when I overlooked and ran into traps or opening a secret door only to reveal a horrible creature >.>

Xivilai and the spider Daedra scared me.

Xivilai because they were difficult.

Spider Daedra because they were spiders.
