at this point I stop caring and don't even look in again til Sat.

It has become frustrating to go through the threads to even look at pictures. Half the time people are voting for someone I didn't even know entered because they posted in between a huge QQ WAH WAH Tablet quote train.

It's seriously just not fun anymore with everyone crying and QQing (hence my lack of effort in this week and last's entries) and eventually I am not going to even bother looking in here. If I want to see a lot of people cry or QQ about something that is what Ni and other various threads are for.

(Also, yes, I understand the irony involved with me writing not one but 2 QQ posts about all the QQing in this thread.)

No offense taken, nor is any apology needed. I think you're posting reasonable comments about something you invest a lot of time into. I think it's reasonable to discuss why rules are the way they are from time to time, even if no rule change comes of it. But it's also reasonable to be very sure that the rules don't really need changing.

As long as the meeting of the two remains civil, there's no reason that people can't disagree.

It was me. And do you know why I try to get some conversation going? To keep it bumped. No one else seems to want to. Yes, you and a couple others do it occasionally, but you aren't consistent, maybe because you don't like all the chatter, I dunno.

I'd rather not see you stop entering. There's gotta be some compromise.

I do remember way back when (yes, when I was noob lurker during Round 1, Week 1-ish) that Cai would do a "recap" of all the images. That was kind of nice, but I can imagine it would be tricky due to size differences and spoilered-images, and that's why I figured it went out of fashion to do. :p

This thread was always just about lulz and fun ideas. I do admit that I got disheartened due to "stick to the rules" type situations, but the rules (what there are) are just there to help things go smoothly. I personally think they are ok the way they are (even if they don't favour my Saturday-evening submissions.) ^_-

In regard to voting...people will vote the way they want. Some people will substantiate their vote with a mini-critique, some will vote for friends, some will vote for ideas, some will vote for execution. :p I would think it shouldn't matter much how or why people vote, so long as they find something fun and entertaining in the thread in the first place. ^^

It's just fun looking at everyone's submissions, from time to time a really good idea happens.
I don't calculate drawing skill into my vote I more or less base my vote on the impressions I get from certain drawings.
A poorly drawn picture can have just as many implications as a well drawn picture.
Though I won't lie to you, I'm more easily impressed by a somewhat more well drawn work of art.

I really like this. I like seeing things like this and LOL thread at work and this makes it easier to see all of them in one spot rather than going through all pages.

But yours are sooo awesome! I was looking through the older ones, and the 'Knock-Out' submission was spectacular!!! That whole topic was amazing!!!

Okay, since I'm usually one of the first to post anyway, I'll stick all the entries in one post as they come in.
