Haha I've thought of it but.. When I did it at 85 cap on BLU I basically was able to stun lock it just like you can Omega. Only problem would be when she gets real low.. Armor buster spam would be too much prolly or if she does magic shield which might block head butt stun.

Citadel buster should'nt be a problem anymore, Magic barrier and a nice MDT set and you'd be golden, even toss in a light sachet for the incredibly small chance it could proc :o

Nah not Citadel buster but armor buster. If I remember right Ultima likes to spam that a lot when it goes into crazy mode. I dunno, it might be doable lol. Armor buster is light magic based as well so would have to make good use of Magic Barrier. /rdm and make sure slow/para is on. Eva build etc.

...sorry...whenever I see a mob do a tp move that brings your hp to near zero...I get flashbacks of lvling nin...spiders: XX readies Sickle Slash....::aw crap::....dhalmels: XX readies Stomping....::aw crap::

...always seemed to do those tp moves when I didn't have shadows up...I've only tanked Proto-Omega a handful of times....and now I do remember it just left me at critical HP....but still...taru HP ftl

Not really impressive at all lol but did just for fun.



Can be soloed by pretty much anything with stun now xD. Only did it before on BLM at 75. I tried to zerg it with my 2hr before this run and it did nightmare which ended me :( 3 spells took it to 40% though lol. I should try to purposely fall down next time and see if I can solo all those diremites.

The mites don't *** play, I was doing my mule's CoP mission, and even those lower diremites were hitting me with perfect accuracy and hitting for 50~ as BLU90 in idle. Maybe they're the same mites, but they don't *** play.

Also I remember soloing that on pup before they made diab draw in when he first took damage instead of when a party member got hate.

I don't mind. Some basic spells that I always set are:

Sub-zero smash/Auroral Drape (Fast cast if /nin)
Delta Thrust (Cheap mp cost for moderate dmg, plague if it lands)
Magic Fruit (Prefer over embrace due to lower recast/mp cost)
actinic burst/winds of promy (flash/erase and refresh from trait)
cocoon (defense boost, if i can squeeze it in)
head butt (stun)

Situational
Magic Barrier (if i am taking heavy magic dmg or chance to)
occultation (normally don't use /nin but i do when /rdm)
mp drainkiss/magic hammer (if mob is aspirable)
filamented hold (if can slow it)
regurgitation (if its bindable and needed for recovery)
sleep spell
temporal shift (aoe stun and not an add effect)
dispel
etc etc,

Yes, it doesn't matter what level the mob is. They can be too weak and you can learn spells.

I've only tried it a few times, but I often seem to mess up the timing on azure lore'd skillchains for sometimes, unless it's a relatively quick one like ram charge -> goblin rush -> cdc

I have to put blinkmenot on sometimes, I can't tell unless I see chunks of DMG. Like in that Alex fight, BT > Ram charge did frag and it showed but if you see the fenrir fight it didn't... I guess I did it too fast idk.
