This ***happened to me too. I pay for my account and my friends but mine is the only one that got *** in the ***. Godammit SE.
sigh, happend to me too, again, first the issues of april and now this?

Had internet down for a few days now when I got it back up this happens... /sigh.
Has anyone had any luck with them yet on this issue? also SE charged the issues because the "reactivation" ok, I understand "no free month for me" but, again?

Well, I went and got a pre paid and paid the thirteen dollars again. AGAIN! I've never been billed for anything in the middle of the month in the 7 years I've played. this is absurdity...

Fifth month in a row my ***got shut off. *** ***...
Fortunately I have not had the misfortune of being billed for April, nor charged in the middle of the month out of the blue for either of my accounts. However, my advice to anyone who has undergone this *** is to remain steadfast. Put pressure on even if it means making numerous phone calls and upping the ante in your tone and course of action. Demand their fax number and give them the copied documentation of their public business agreement to not charge for the month of April and your bank statement showing the contrary.
Best of luck to you all, and I hope SE gets their ***together sooner than later. The problem is, its POL thats causing the issue and not SE. SE will look into it, fix it, and get refunded.

I'll add that the problem is, with the time SE has had at hand to address this situation (having decided to grant us a free month and all) this type of problem shouldn't be happening. The latest updates and game tweaks had me thinking they were actually getting stuff together all of a sudden, but somehow I don't mind getting back to the old motto: it's SE, what'ya expect! wth! Got me too! Husband's account is still connected, we use the same damn card!

OR when you get connected ask for a supervisor and tell them you want to register a complaint. OR talk to your bank, sometimes the bank rep can set up a 3 way call and just let the person from the bank and from SE hash it out. Any update from SE's end? I'm not paying this BS mid-month bill..

No, POL is a company that were employed by SE to handle billing and support for FFXI as I understand it. Thought Playonline just was a product/service provided by SE, not a company :o

As previously announced, eligible customers using Debit Cards to pay their fees will be refunded the fees for the April billing cycle of FINAL FANTASY XI due to the temporary suspension of the FINAL FANTASY XI game service. Details on the refund process can be found below. [For Payments Made Using Debit Cards] Customers who pay using Debit Cards and are eligible will be refunded automatically by the end of May. Please note that while we will endeavour to process all refunds within this period, if you believe you are eligible for but do not receive a refund by the end of May, please contact the Square Enix Support Centre at http://support.eu.square-enix.com. * Eligibility - Customers who have already paid for April subscription fees using Debit Cards. - Customers who created new accounts in March, and have made payments, calculated on a daily basis, for April following the end of the free trial period will also be eligible. [Important Notices] * Only customers whose April subscription fees were paid as of March 2011 are eligible. That still doesn't explain the mid-month billing though. I smell something fishy. I suppose they wont admit their mistake lol.
So wait, I'm basically screwed if I use a prepaid card? You can't refund a prepaid card... *** you SE @_@
Who use prepaid cards... You guys dont have VISA/Mastercard?

I dont know how your bank works but over here we got VISA with both Debit and Credit versions.
