I would see another nerve specialist. If you had a pec tear and it went unnoticed your doctor's suck. A few years ago I had a left shoulder injury . Funny thing is it also affected my pinky finger where I had a hard time gripping with my left hand.
Well I am seeing a different doctor now than the surgeon because of worker's comp issues, but this whole time I thought that sensation was from bicep tendonitis, which should have been fixed from the surgery. But since it is not, and clearly something else, I will mention it to this other doctor I am seeing.
He already thinks I might need another surgery since I am 7+ months post op but still have issues in the shoulder, but this doesn't seem like it is related to the issues I still have because the pain I have from that is in a different area. But I have no issues with gripping or pain shooting down to my arm, so I don't think it could be a nerve problem, but thanks for the reply. Lakshmi.Buukki

Not a doctor, but where you are pointing is your AC JOINT. A very common sports injury, specifically for linemen. Do
The pushing from work definitely could have caused it. Mention the joint and demand an xray of the clavicle, collarbone, ac joint, and rotator cuff. Also, with the shoulder, sometimes sleeping on it incorrectly can make it worse. Consider getting a brace for sleeping or prop a pillow under it. And then RICE my friend. Rest ICE compression elevation of the pain comes back shortly Good luck Well I just had x-rays done a couple weeks ago because workers comp sent me to an IME (independent medical evaluation) and all he said in the report is that I have a type II/III acromion. He also said the left shoulder looks symmetrical to the right, which shouldn't be the case I would think, since I had the decompression which would take away from some of the acromion on the right.
And I know sleeping on it wrong can make it worse. I woke up on morning barely able to move my arm it hurt so bad, must have slept on it for a while. It went away after like an hour, but definitely not fun. I've already been icing it multiple times a day, and am on celebrex for inflammation already. As for thinking it's the AC joint, the spot I'm touching is soft tissue, and it's slightly below the clavicle, so I don't know if that's the case. Perhaps it could be the ligament from the coracoid process that connects it to the AC joint, but at the same time, I am barely touching where it hurts, so whatever it is isn't very deep. But that is still a suggestion to bring up with the doctor, so thanks for the reply.
