We're comparing different levels of insulin over a period of time, but I do see your point.
The doses that patients use to manage pathological resistance are much, much higher than the doses a bodybuilder would use to induce a state of anabolism.

If you are 5'4 it does not look like your even close to 207. But I not seen your legs. Maybe they massive . Bleu Taylor trains up here and he is only around 220 off season. You could have posted them here good sir.

I'd say they're a pretty decent size.
I'll see about taking a scale picture (though I don't know how much that would prove)
In any case, I'm pretty sure small is not the correct descriptor. Bleu Taylor during the off-season is still orders of magnitude more cut than I am, so of course he's going to look larger, just like tiger looks much bigger than 155 etc.
If I was smaller, I'd take proper credit for it, I'm sure my mediocre 495x2 would be a lot more impressive at whatever weight you think I am!

I was saying off season since BF% is high. You around the height as he is. And if he is 220lbs?? Well enough . Glad you like to dead- liftt I take it. It is nice to see folks doing compound exercises.

I'm not trying to be a *** or anything but your back looks slightly rounded on that, I'd be a little careful. Impressive amount of weight though, good ***.

Upper back needs to roll a little bit. however the lower back seems rolled, the weight looks a little too far forward until right below the knee, and its hard to tell from that angle but your shoulders look like they are in front of the bar a little bit. If you fix that and practice with lower weight, you could probably pull 525 or higher. You may also want to use a fixed width belt vs. a tapered one, as the added surface area of the belt will help keep pressure against the inside of the belt.

As for the insulin, it's pretty much been said, but it takes a lot of insulin, constant over time, to cause insulin sensitivity and eventually lead to diabetes. I would wager to say that 90% or more of IFBB pros use insulin in their routine. I haven't heard of any of them getting diabetes from their routines (usually 5-10ius pre-workout) If you were an IFBB pro, you should probably know this.

Dip belts
Which would you guys recommend? Also is there a huge benefit of using a Dip belt vs using the actual dip leverage machine?

http://www.forksoverknives.com this just about sums up all you need to know about nutrition. Also will make it quite clear why the western diet is pretty much asking for disease and sickness.
2 terms can sum up modern eating (re:not diet) and why it's terrible.
Processed Foods
&
Synthetic Foods
what does that have to do with the link i posted, go watch it before you try to correct someone with nothing to base your claim on. reply to the OP with that piss.
If you wanna be constructive that's good, if you're gonna spend time correcting someone else, get your ***straight first before you do. Also, what you said is redundant to my post, which you clearly didn't click the link or watch the documentary. Or you must be a higher authority on nutrition and eating habits than these doctors and phD's who compiled this information over the course of 20 years.
This is a thread on Fitness & Nutrition, keep your *** vegan propaganda out of it you pretentious cliché snob. Vegan diets are for 100 pound betas, have fun with that.

Pretty solid, can't really complain. I even use it as a leather strap to hone my knives lol... And I can't give you a breakdown on the mechanics but dip machine feels like a very different exercise than doing weighted dips-- you're taking out a bunch of stabilizing by having your knees on the platform. Same thing with pullups.

Apples and oranges. A dip assist is used for reducing the weight you are dipping, making the lift easier. Dip belts add to the weight you are dipping, making it more difficult. Unless there is some new-fangled machine that lets you add weight to the dip. i usually just dip on the machine unassisted, or at home infant-weighted bench dip.

Ohh I wasn't talking about the assisted dip machine. I was talking/asking about in comparison to dips using a belt.

gotcha - in that case there isnt a huge difference, but a machine does a lot of the stabilization for you, so a belt would be better.

Anyone know if Maximuscle Cyclone is any good? Place in town has a special on it. Not sure if i wanna step up to creatine though...
It's usually 66 euro for 1 tub,but the offer is 3 tubs for 112 euro. + shaker,diet book,blah blah,useless ***.
It's always been a bit more expensive considering it's 66 euro and a 1.2kg tub (20 servings) but that might have to do with the quality or the creatine, idk. My protein for example is 55 euro,2kg tub,74 servings, optimum nutrition gold standard whey.
Here's the exact page from the store

thoughts?

I know quite a few people that smoke and it doesn't affect them. Just need to burn off any calories you consume from munchies and stay motivated going to the gym/exercising.

If weed leads you to doing other ***like being too lazy to train or pig out, then yes. Smoking weed on its own with all other factors remaining constant shouldn't affect it at all besides hindering your cardio if your lungs are ***.
If you wanna get high and lose weight, do meth.
