Fitness and Nutrition general
I just got knowledge bombed. You cannot target specific areas of the chest, even upper or lower, as all nerves that target chest contraction do not fire independently. It is up to your genetics and specific lifts that determine chest size.
Anyone have some tips on how to lose some weight, the healthy way? Since living on my own I've put on a hefty amount of weight. I have a gym membership, and a playground nearby. Plus, the funds to support just about any diet. Problem is, I don't know where to start. I'm 6'2" and about 245lbs, strong as an ox(I work outdoors) but I certainly have a gut, and notice my face has gotten fatter since HS(I weighed about 185 in high school).
Basically looking for some general nutrition hints, tips, and direction. Offline

I decided to work out a lot over the last month. It is hard to show results after one month but I can most def see and feel it.
Orange shirt was last month around the 9th, the purple swimsuit was from today. Blue tank was the photo that kicked my butt into wanting to work out. I weigh the same in all of these photos but I have replaced fat with muscle. Good work, keep it up
Any suggestions on a good cutting stack? I've been on bodybuilding forums but there are too many cutting stack. (My diet is on point now that I'm preparing my meals.)
A lot of people I see still say OEP/jack3d(old formula) but wanted to see if anything better. I've been using c4 as the only stimulant in my regimen. Also now that I'm trying to cut how often should I be doing cardio weekly? Before I was just doing 20 to 30 minutes hiit on my non weight days. Thanks! Bismarck.Bloodbathboy

I had the issue with Jacked. But within a few hours I feel fine with Assault Baconwrap.
Gonna look into the ones you guys listed before I go and buy :D
Also,for those of you mentioning sleep problems because of the stimulants in w/e preworkout,how long before sleep did you take them? Rather how long does the stimulant last? Because my workouts usually start around 5-7 hours before bed
idk how I ever lived without a preworkout :x

Also depends how tolerant you are to them, do you drink a lot of coffee throughout your day? I train at 12:30, chug my preworkout at midnight and I'm still able to fall asleep at 3 when I get back. I do take a lot of caffeine, ephedrine, green tea ect throughout my day so I'm more tolerant than others. I dont drink coffee or anything with caffine in it,but i live on sugar usually (except when training). Took it today at 6:45 and started working out around 7:15 or 7:20. Shortly after I could feel it kick in. Was good lol 11pm now and im pretry chilled again short of a tiny remainder of what i can only describe as internal metabolism heat

Like I said, you would like Assualt. It has No, soft stims, amino acida(BC)and creapure.
I didnt mind assault, it just set really heavy compared to others ive tried. C4 is probably my favorite with Jack3d and Bullnox being my close 2nd.

I have a friend of mine that bombards me with questions. A "by the book" *** that has to follow everything to an exact T, can't improvise or if he doesn't follow the exact routine he starts freaking out about it. I linked him to CT's videos a few weeks ago and told him to just stfu and train, doesn't bother me no more. CT and the HodgeTwins are my favorites, no *** approach to training.

Thanks! This. I add L-Tyrosine, L-Arginine, and Green Tea Extract to my EC stack. Beats any fat burner supplement I've tried. The amount of cardio all depends on how much you're eating a day. For a basic cut I would try to at least do 30 minutes 6 days a week, you wanna sweat daily. There are too many people at the gym who just lift and barely do any cardio because "it wastes gains", what's the point of looking in shape if you aren't IN shape? I divide my workouts into 3-a-days so that I'm not completely drained at the gym. 60 minutes cardio in the morning, 45-60mins boxing in the afternoon, and weights at night before bed. Try to have a few hours rest between lifting and cardio if you wanna keep things fresh, but if you can't then just save cardio for after weights. Ok ephedrine is illegal in the US lol It's banned as a dietary supplement, but it's not illegal at all. There's a loophole, you buy at as a "nasal decongestant" in bulk quantities. The supplements store here sell 12 packs of Ephedrine nasal decongestant tablets lol, it's like directly saying "oh ok cool new law, I'll find a way to sell this ***anyway." |
