Um Do Fanatic Drinks Not Work?

fanatic drink, fanatic tonic, fanatic powder...do they not always work? dont know how many times ive used them while killing 10+ mobs and just continue to get raped since they dont f**king negate physical damage......insight?

and for the record i do 'uses a fantic tonic' not use it and run and it cancels like all items/casts

Tonics suck. Drinks, powder work.

Did these mobs have an addition effect "elemental" damage?
Did these mobs use or have some form of "Formless strikes" O.o
Overall they work, but sometimes ya do find a mob that is one with the force.
Was with a PLD in Konschtat last night cleaving efts for gold chests, got tired of curing him and would pop a powder every once in awhile and it was working just fine. Kind sucks ya don't get tp for the 0 hits but he'll be ok ^^

lol yea was just killing dusk lizards in aby-mis for a friend for his blm blizz staff. thought maybe if i aoelian edge them down he could aga them but yaa didnt work so well xD sounds like it was a tonic too but im dont remember D:
