Mandau Vs. Twashtar.

If they are truly the top weapon why wouldn't you put it in your main hand? The fact they aren't useful in your off hand SHOULD be irrelevant; the fact that there's a reason to offhand Mandau means that the Empyreans should be nerfed.

And Mandau triple does stack with AF3, while Twashtar's double does not.


Mercy Stroke has always been one of the better WS, and it still is.

Some relic WS have always lagged behind, which in effect made them very overpriced weapons because you would only be upgrading them for DMG/Delay/Triple.

This is why Mandau, Yoichinoyumi, Annihilator, Amanomurakumo, and Apocalypse were the most upgraded weapons -- their WS were actually unique/useful.

Why in the *** would you have a 75 mandau? You can easily finish all of your trials within a few days.

Normally I'd say if you had a Mandau, you should have the dedication to get it to 85 before you got your Twashtar to 85.

But after that moron with a Twashtar that didn't know you had to be behind someone to use Trick Attack, I could honestly see this happening.

For real? That person should be murdered.

Anyone ran tests lately to see how well 90 Twash is standing up to 95 Mandau?

There was a thread here that went about 7 pages before the mods removed it. Telling stupid people they are stupid is unacceptable.

As far as Mandau vs. Twash, I don't have both to test, but analogizing from what Ninjas with both Kannagi and Kikoku have said, the triple damage proc is roughly equivalent to the ODD aftermath now. So the fact that Mandau's triple damage is not tied down to using a specific WS, combined with its own aftermath and 35 attack, should pull it slightly ahead despite Twashtar having the benefit of DEX for its WS.
