I wish Comedy Central still made new episodes of Dave Attell's show.

Yah he normally has to clean up a lot of his stuff for their regular shows, but he was able to let loose a lot on that old Insomniacs programme. :p

Insomniac! That's what it was. That was bothering me for a while.

Would be kinda hard to have that show still around.. Greg is dead and Dane Cook is basically too good for the likes of petty comedy anymore. Which leaves just Attell and the Rheumatoid Arthritis guy that I can never remember the name of.

Yeah...Dane Cook and Carlos Mencia can both be put in that category. I can't stand either of them.

Dane Cook is at least funny =/ Carlos Mencia needs to go die in a tire fire. Dane Cook is like made for comedy, his body language, his inflections it's all there.. Carlos just seems like a deer in the headlights, all lost and ***.

But Cook did steal Louis CK's ***, and I'm far more loyal to Louis.. So if it actually came down to a territorial dispute, I'd be the first up there ready to dismember Cook <.<

I guess I lost your respect then =/ I agree he's far over rated, but I've seen plenty of worse comedians out there, A lot of the ***, especially in the link I just posted, I can relate to, so I find it funny.. It's not like I find Dane Cook funny, I find what he says funny, if someone else gave the same routine I'd find it just as funny.

I'll tell you a show I miss, Chappelle's Show.

I know a lot of people that do detest Dane Cook, not just for his attitudes regarding his own celebrity. :p Ron White, for example, detests him and his comedy completely LOL.

Personally, I find Dane Cook funny, but insofar as it is entirely (100%) delivery. The subject matter of his stand-up, itself, is actually not funny at all (to me) if it were to be printed out and read as a script LOL. :p It is entirely his antics and gestures that carry his act--sort of like a (highly-paid) class clown making fun of random subjects in the back of a classroom. :p

For sure I can see how other people might not find that funny at all. But then, I personally didn't find some comedian's schticks funny either like Emo Philips or Steven Wright--so it is personal taste to a degree, I suppose.

I just dont like him, not his mannerism not anything. Age has done good to him at least, he looks prettier, ill give him that. But as a comedian? Actor? whatever? Sucks. Granted not the worst.

No no, i mean if thats the guy with Rheumatoid Arthritis that you think. I think Lewis Black will die on stage of a heart attack someday.

Yah, for certain if there was ever a case for the existence of "karma", it was Sam Kinison. :/ He had that famous bit about how people will drink and drive (and not consider alternatives) because it was an eventual outcome, and not some kind of decision. :(
