Oops I meant to say yes. Since the game is a direct sequel.

*edit* Also, damn I like your avatar Flion Despite the negativity towards the game, I actually enjoyed it quite a bit.

Ramuh.Rowland said: What does "Is Final Fantasy X-2 canon?" mean? The canon part confuses me. Canon refers to stories, events, and other materials that are confirmed by the creator(s) as having actually happened in the universe of the work of fiction. Generally, anything in the game story is considered canon, unless it contradicts with the estabilshed canon of another game in the universe, in which case the creator(s) would have to make a public statement to clarify what is truly canon and what never really happened. Canon = actual part of the storyline.
For example, if you look at dragonball z, none of the movies fit the possible timeline. Like the Brolly movie. Gohan was super saiyan in the movie, but he didn't turn super saiyan until like a week before the cell games. And if Brolly was after Cell, Goku wouldn't have been in the movie because he died and remained dead until 7 years later (Plus gohan couldn't go super saiyan 2). It was a side story and non canon because it doesn't fit the actual story/timeline Can PS2 games be emulated on PC? and does someone have X and X-2? I wanna play through them now :x

Thank you kind mustached man Either PM me, MSN me or uh ... I dunno lol. Ramuh.Rowland said: What does "Is Final Fantasy X-2 canon?" mean? The canon part confuses me. Examples I can think of are multiple endings, you argue which one is canon to the story, the accepted ending, anything else is a possible outcome but say someone wrote a story about it, there would only be one true outcome. It can also count for spin-offs, I guess I'll use Dragonball GT as an example, people argue night and day whether it is canon or not, I think the majority side with non-canon because it isn't part of the Dragonball manga and has many discrepancies with the rest of Dragonball. Someone could probably explain canon better though! |
