yeah a shiny with good IVs/Nature will still be a great find since that's like winning the lottery twice~three times with one ticket, no doubt about that.
It increases the market of available shinies, can more easily trade for the one you want or grind out the one you want. My point is, they aren't made worthless, but their value has indeed slipped, hence, the chain systems have devalued shinies. That's all.

Well, we haven't seen any Mews in this generation, so that may be it.

I think all that matters is that you connect to the Pokémon internet after you register my friend code? I'm not all too sure on how it actually works.

It seemed like there was kind of a lack of new legendaries to me and the way the pokedex only shows up to what you've seen had me wondering if there would be some more. Hope its true!
