So basically Mega Metagross's Meteor Mash is gonna destroy things.

Two new events have been announced for North America. First, there will be an online distribution of Heracross and Pinsir in the games from August 13th to September 17th 2014.
Second, if you go to Gamestop from August 18th to August 31st 2014, you will be able to receive a serial code to download their Mega Stones, the Heracronite and Pinsirite.

For those of you in North America, the PokéBall Pattern Vivillon is currently available over Mystery Gift over Internet to celebrate the opening of the Pokémon Center online store. This special pattern of Vivillon is only available for a VERY short time, until August 12th 2014 so download it while you can.

For those of you in Europe & Australia, the PokéBall Pattern Vivillon event has been announced. From August 29th 2014 to September 8th 2014, you will be able to download the special Vivillon over the Nintendo Network.

The next batch of CoroCoro information has been posted to Japanese forums and this batch showcases more information about the upcoming game Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire. This reveals Mega Altaria, who is Dragon/Fairy with Pixilate and Mega Lopunny who is Normal/Fighting with Scrappy. It also confirms that when you change your Pikachu's clothes for contests, it gets special moves. Pikachu Rock Star gets the move Meteor Mash, Pikachu Ph. D. knows Electric Terrain, Pikachu Pop Star knows Draining Kiss, Pikachu Belle knows Icicle Crash and Pikachu Libre knows Flying Press

I am so excited for Mega Altaria it's typing is amazing. And with Pixilate? If this thing gets a boost in it's speed it could wreck teams.

The Pikachu with alternate moves seems a bit useless though since none of them help with it's threats.

You also forgot to mention that Mega Lopunny now learns High Jump Kick.

If you talk to the young man near the reception desk who says it’s his job to prepare the Contest Hall, he can even set it up so you can take pictures of your Pokémon, capturing the world around you in the background! Try to take the ultimate shot with your Pokémon!

The Shiny Beldum event has also been confirmed for the west at launch, and with it, there's a special piece of artwork for them.

Mega Altaria gets increased Attack and Special Attack as well as a small boost into Defense. This thing has just become my team's Mega.
Mixed Attacker with ability to punish it's check ins.

I found a weakness already. Any pokemon with the Ability of Soundproof and the Zubat family. Crobat especially would wipe the floor against Altaria/Mega.

Crobat isn't in OU though. If people play by Smogon rules. As well as any pokemon with Soundproof. I don't see people purposely putting one of them on their team to deal with just 1 Mega.

That Cosplay Pikachu is disappointing. Since it's IVs are going to be horrendous.

Could also remove Roost for Draco Meteor, Ice Beam, or HP Elec.
