Click on multiplayer, put drkcraft.dyndns.org as the server address (which is updated to whatever my IP may actually be, so then I don't have to give out my IP constantly).
My dedicated server runs a special map I found that's even cooler than the Glacier generation, so the terrain is a little extreme and funky.
The starting area might be a bit mined out and preexplored though.

I've got a dedicated server too, but since it's based in the UK you american peeps will get lag most likely. Plus the fact that it's a bit wonky.

But yeah I've never been exactly into the gigantic ornate building thing, but I love watching people build an exploring.
I'm more into humble villages and stuff like that :D
It's weird, I enjoy watching people play Minecraft as much as I enjoy playing it.
I'm looking up getting a dedicated FFXIAH server up though with 24 player cap. I've been talking to a few friends and it shouldn't be too expensive.
I like the surviving part of minecraft too though, the fact that you need to actually get in or get raped by mobbies.

Yeah I really enjoy Minecraft for all the various things you can do in it. My friend and I made an enormous tower with a light at the top, to sort of show the way to the main area for anyone who may have died, then we got silly and made a lava moat around it, and now we're expanding to make a sea lab.
I would actually enjoy making a village but the only friend I can actually get to play regularly has the attention span of a shopping cart full of puppies, where we'll be building one thing and then he'll just abandon it and start on something else.
My case and point being an enormous castle made entirely out of obsidian that we started making, then he abandoned it to start his sea lab, I didn't want the castle but obsidian is so *** hard to break I don't feel like dismantling it.

I tend to finish things first lol. I've made a few underwater bases and I did make a giant castle.
My favourite 'home' I guess I'd call it was my hobbit hole, I decided to just dig in where I found my first coal and hollowed out a mountain and had tons of ***like tree farms, normal farms, animal farms and other fun stuff underground.
Then I stopped playing for a while.

Was probably a creeper lol
My laptop is about a year and a half old, I already got Minecraft, is there any way to speed up the game, I have an issue some lag, here and there.
