Those are invasions. When you get near a group of people 'join public group' appears at the top of your screen. If someone clicks it, they get grouped with someone nearby with a public group.

Right click your portrait to set your group to private if you don't want this to happen. Unless you're just passing through, there's no reason to do so though.

Yes, Meridian is the Defiant city hub. You'll get quests that tell you to go there soon enough. Yes, there's an AH. I don't recommend wasting time on it until you're 40+.

I'm using VHScrCap and Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder for my streaming. I need another cable, and to put my extra sound card in to be able to commentate at the same time. I could do it last night, but the top jacks on my PC have a high pitched hum to them when I'm trying to use both top and back jacks.

I haven't had that issue. Only thing that happens to me is mobs go underground in certain places (like the zombies in IT).

Yeah, I realized that when I could hear the SC2 webcast I was listening to at the time.

I think I'm on Ultra. Might turn a few things up since I have experienced lag at all, even while streaming.

Edit: I just put everything to max. The only thing disabled is the antialiasing, but I think I can at least turn edge smoothing on without fps loss. Hard to tell in Meridian where it fluctuates anyway.

lol yeah I put mine all the way up, noticed no lag even in or near rifts (where I would imagine is where it would hiccup if any)

I'll play around with it a little more tomorrow, prolly gonna go lay down for a bit now since my backs hurting a little bit :/

Try get my mage to at least 15-20 tomorrow same with my warrior. (although I like my mage more :p)
