Possible Use For PLD?

I don't get why this thread lasted more than 1 post. Even if (insert random *** HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE emnity fix idea that is pointless) works. Mnk, sam, ninja dmg will still make ***go by so much faster.

Discussion over with so go be butt hurt in game some more about a fail job that was always fail. Only real use it truly had was for magic spam happy nm. Now that ***don't matter due to the increase in -mdt gear.

On another note (yes I'll troll this to see some RDM get all pissed) RDM is useless now. What are they truly used for a whm can't do? Para2 Slow2? Does it help? Yeah it can, but still not needed.

The ONLY fix for PLD is better damage. That is it. The job is fine apart from it's poor damage. And for those who say PLD was not meant to be a DD, well every DD job on the game wasn't meant to be a tank, but there you go.

And the reason there is so much interest in improving PLD is because so many people have it leveled and love the job. My THF is way more efficient than my PLD in Abyssea, but if I could contribute more on PLD then I'd rather be PLD. But I am glad I have other jobs leveled...it's mindlessly easy to level and gear up other jobs these days.

Personally although I like the ease of low manning NMs, it's boring if you have several people come and half of them are just standing there with a thumb up their *** waiting to trigger !!. I hope the 99 endgame is more challenging.

They should just turn PLD into a special DD like Beatrix and Agrias etc. Give them some coolio looking abilities like Shock and holy explosion !

RDM are still the best healers outside Abyssea.
