1/24 on Mee and 2/7 on Quu.

Killed Mee 17 times in a row found out his pop pattern (He has a pop pattern based on a 4 square grid) ... made 500k farming other mobs while doing it... stayed up for 26 hours. Never again is all i can say.

I went as 70THF/15RNG when I hunted.

I was 1/1 on the feet and 1/7 on the O.Kotes. Everyone I known that has went /thf seems to have have horrid results on the drops.

look at the discussion page on ffxiclopedia.

Maybe I was lucky maybe not but note:
I hunted VE only 2 times. once for a friend and once for me. When I saw it for my hunt I lost claim to a RNG (I was learning PHs when I did mine). For my friend we got claim and got the drop (1/1).

I never hunted LL. No deisre too. I lvled THF w/o the boots and found better options to use.

Aren't you a lucky ***. I camped this ***for more than three weeks straight and claimed them every *** time, and you want to tell me "BS?" I camped them more than 30 times each with an LS member, and got nothing. He eventually got tired of it. My luck is horrible.

Luck is just that, luck.
You were lucky for going 1/1 on Emp. Hairpin.
I camped that thing for weeks, to no avail.
I only have one, because a long time friend quit the game and gave it to me.
However, I did go 1/2 on Quu Domi, which I dont brag about.
And, I went 1/2 on Bugbear Strongman.
With time and patience, everyone gets their items.
You are only level 60 right now.
Wait till you have 4 level 75 jobs and are 0/134 like my gf on Mee Deggi.
It finally took me, logging her on, and taking her up there with my 75THF for a week straight to get it for her.
I'm sorry for your luck on this particular mob, but bring a THF friend and keep on trying.
You'll get it eventually.

We all know camping certain NM's can suck horribly, but some of these super exaggerated 0/42783982754 claims are just silly. I personally went 1/29 on LL so I know that it can get a little out of control but 0/72, 0/68, 0/134 = no.

People love to claim outlandish things out of frustration, which is understandable, but comeon with some of these silly numbers.

My 1/13 on Mee D was over about a 2 month period against competition, so no, not really that lucky at all.

My ls going 2/2 on our first 2 Jailer of Justice, now that is lucky as hell.

I had thought that it was bad to bring a THF to them? as it made the weapons drop over 100% or something? so you were even more unlikely to get drop.

That isn't possible, and a THF is completely useless anyway.

Mee Deggi and Quu Domi always drop an item (1 of the 2 they carry), 100% of the time. TH doesn't increase item drops, it increases the chance an item will drop, at least, that's how I've always understood it.

This is correct. This only applys to mobs where the desired drop replaces a different drop in the pool however. Not like VE where insect wing and Pin hold seperate loot slots.

I camped as WAR/SAM, Meditated for TP and held all TP until it was like 45-50%.

Coeurl Sub -> Hasso -> Berserk -> Warcry -> Mighty Strikes.

Quu Domi eats dust.

No exploding for you!

You find a pair of Sarutobi Kyahan.

I've heard this as well and decided to give it a try after going 0/2 on him. Sure enough on the next pop I crushed him (with pld/thf btw) before he tried to 2hr and got the feet.

Probably a coincidence, but thought I'd mention it.

True.
Hope is powerful and the belief in things gives us hope and makes us stronger.

Ture, belief often gives us the strength to endure hardships.
Even hardships of a game's concrete logic.

My numbers aren't silly, ugh.
It's like taking all three weeks of that ***and saying I did nothing with my time, even though I was on every day!
Oh, that's why I was 54 for so long, too! Because I wasn't doing anything!
No missions or quests got done, nope! Didn't buy anything at all, nuh-uh! Don't know what I was doing, but it surely couldn't have been camping for something I got kicked out of a *** party for not having.
But I was on.
Every day.
Camping.
Edit: Oh, oh, let's not forget the hundreds of thousands of gils-worth of equipment that came from literally nowhere, so I suppose my camping anything wasn't true, but I'm sure you think I'm RMT, too!
