Gotcha Tiger. Ouch! At least since you are very fit; you'll get better more rapidly than average joe.
I used to have trouble sleeping if I didn't have music, but my first roommate in college fixed that. Then I used to haaaate fans... friend Ben fixed that. Then I used to hate snoring, and I still hate snoring. It drives me insane when someone is snoring, but I will eventually pass out as long as I cover my ears. Boot Camp did that. Now I can sleep like a rock no matter the situation, and from what I hear... if I get on a sub after Prototype, then I can elect to sleep in a torpedo tube/near one. Then I can get used to the insanely loud noise of them firing practice torpedoes!

Of course, most of it is harmless background radiation that won't really do much to you. If it was gamma radiation from the decay of Co-59, then you'd have something to worry about, or if it was fast neutron radiation...
Other interesting blurbs about radiation! A truck load of bananas produces more radiation than a nuclear warhead, as long as the warhead is still incased.

Uncle brought the demon dog back to the house.
Thing had me coming in and leaving the house from a ladder and a window for over a year, has bit me more than once, growls at me constantly, etc.
I'm not 17 anymore and I'm not putting up with that ***. Dog makes any threatening advances at me and I'm going Dio Brando on his ***

I actually had a really awqward racist moment at work, was on the group break and this old biddy started going on about hating coloured folk and gays, like proper ranting on and spluterring out some shocking, shocking statements. When I asked her why she thought like that because we are all human she looked at me like she had seen a ghost. Luckily for her (unfortunate for the rest of the world) the canteen was empty apart from our shift group, if management heard her she would have been fired. It was truly shocking.
