Speaking from experience from the alpha, the email will just notify that you've been invited and will link you to the beta forum, which requires you to be logged in to even view it's contents.

The actual client download will be in the forums under the "Getting Started" board.


Normal individuals shouldn't expect invites for the closed beta till some time in April.

We get the benchmark before the alpha I think so be waiting for that for now, then you only have to wait for the beta another week or so once you are finished waiting for that.

I did a couple times. It's an annoyance having to shut down most programs to change the profile. wasn't worth the effort to stand around gridania.

SLI and Dual GPU cards like the GTX590 (my card) were only getting 10-20FPS due to some issue they were having with SLI profiles.

i dont even know what that means. I remember reading I dont have to reapply just for the fact i was in alpha but doesnt mean ill get in lol
