And the typical spartan troop was armed with 2 daggers which are throw-able, a half pike which is throw-able, and a shortsword with shield. Unless the ninja is keeping distance at 30 feet or more, then they may as well be ignoring each other.
Dread is saying in their element they have the upper hand. That makes sense. :o
gonna go take a nappy.
You two stop this petty debate before ***gets serious.
did somebody say boobs? :O
the fight was based on 1v1 in combat if they just go at it.
none of this running around stuff. its not the "who's the deadliest assassin" Boobs you say?

Sup Ohji.
Like I said, I'm not advocating the ninja's victory, but you also need to give it the right strategy. Hell just throwing makibishi could cause an opening for a poisoned dart as he's forced to change direction. The chances exist, you almost talk like everything the ninja can do is useless.

Also, everything the Ninja can do IS pretty much useless. I agree with Dread. Bismarck.Dreadnot

Which is why I keep saying 10% room for error. The spartan will not win each matchup, but he has an overwhelming advantage in an open 1v1 situation.
Makibishi was designed for lightweight clothing and grass sandals. Almost every asian weapon was designed to fight people wearing cloth. Not bronze armor. Unlike the anime where a flick of the wrist sends objects flying at 300mph, it takes great effort and throwing power to cover even a short distance with any object. Quote: Spartans were armored with flanged bronze cuirasses, leg greaves, and a helmet, most usually of the Corinthian type. It is often disputed which torso armor the Spartans wore during the Persian Wars, though it seems likely they either continued to wear bronze cuirasses of a more sculptured type, or instead had adopted the linothōrax. During the later 5th century BC, when warfare had become more flexible and full-scale phalanx confrontations became rarer, the Greeks abandoned most forms of body armor. The Lacedaemonians also adopted a new tunic, the exōmis, which could be arranged so that it left the right arm and shoulder uncovered and free for action in combat. The Spartan's main weapon was the Doru. For long range, they carried a javelin. Depending on which time frame you're fighting against will determine their armor. if I DL dark souls will the online work (once available?) or will I be foreveralone?
Pretty sure you would need to buy the game first.
I don't think any kind of warrior ever wore metal shoes, not even knights. So yeah I don't think he would be so eager to step on spikes. But that was beyond the point anyway.
ninja wont stay still, waiting for his face to get speared, ninja can just use a smoke bomb and disappear it it, and cut wildly, yet precision cuts and make a quick kill.
spartan can block some ***, spear your face and shield bash you, not to mention fly up in the air and land on you. could also have become a baker. Bismarck.Dreadnot

The soles of knights boots were hardened leather, so you'd need metal caltrops to pierce them (but depending on the soil the caltrop might also dig more into the ground not doing much) Also, caltrops take up a lot of space. So unless you were carrying a large bag of them, their effectiveness are limited to spiking roads. |
