Yeah I started renting mine 2 semesters ago. Tons of money saved, the only downside is that the closest FedEx to me is like 25 miles away and they only give me shipping labels for FedEx -_-
I know the school bookstores at my school offered rentals there. Could try that.

They get their books through some contracted third party for their rentals and that is why we end up going out of town to ship them back.

When I was still in school I always got brand new books. My scholarships paid for them though so I wasn't out anything. Then at the end of the semester, I'd sell the basically still new condition books back for a real good price and have at least 150$, usually more like $200.
I miss going to school. I wanna go back and get a higher level degree, but full-paid scholarships are harder to come by now.

I don't get people like that... Why would you want them to rush out a remake on their outdated engine instead of just wait an extra year to have all the improvements and additions of the new generation?

I dunno sometimes I really hate when they change stuff and would kinda prefer in some ways a straight re-release of the older games with better graphics.
Like the other day when I was fighting a magnemite with my geodude and I was like LOL HAVE SUM ROCKS, and it was like lolno i r steel type nao lolololol.
It made me very sad.

I also loved the Hoenn region in general; so much variety... Johto will always be my favourite, though... I wanna live there. :<
Secret bases aside, there was just something about ruby/sapphire that caused it to lack the spark that Blue and Silver had for me. Maybe it's cause I was getting older at the time that they came out and had other motives, I dunno, but I'll never forget the birthday I got my blue gameboy pocket + pokemon blue or the christmas I got pokemon silver, sitting in bed playing them through the morning and discovering all of the pokemon.

Hate when they add useful/fun features and then ditch them in the next game, though. Secret bases, auto-run, following Pokemon, etc.

Charizard may have been the cool kid, but none of my friend's Charizards could beat my Blastoise!
Everyone can unanimously agree that Venusaur is foreveralone though.
Also Lugia is totally cooler than Ho-oh.
